Wild On Pets Greenstone has shown some of the worst assistance to new fish Owners such as ourselves. Upon arrival we were interested in many of the fish and decided to buy a tank, we let it run for the appropriate amount of time before returning to purchase fish for our new tank (with perfect water levels). We bought a few snails; crabs; 2 clown fish and a trigger fish. Little did they tell us clearly uneducated new fish owners this triggerfish would be a predator to the crabs and violent towards the other fish - The trigger ended up killing 2 hermit crabs which was terribly upsetting. We returned him and were able to swap him for another fish but while we were there we decided to buy more fish, the two new fish We had bought looked fine until we stopped at a robot to look at them properly - we decided to go past another pet shop to see if everything was okay but to our shock they were infected with white spot (Which in this case was parasitic- this was noticeable by the involuntary twitching of the fish) we dipped them and assumed things would be okay to recently wake up to most of our tank being infected and those fish we bought dead and now it’s spreading. We don’t understand how such a pet store can sell not only a predator, but also sickened fish to us to put in our tank. We’re terribly upset and disappointed with the service we have received and what’s going on in wild on pets store in Greenstone. I had even pointed out 3 very sickly looking Black Clown fish and they brushed this off very quickly as there was another customer present at the time - little did I know that mine were infected too. This is not a cheap “hobby” and these are not “Just fish” To knowingly sell people sick fish and destroy their little ecosystems is disgusting and animal abuse! I will never support this store again

The business is unprofessional. The owner (though seldom there) and senior staff are rude and arrogant and seem like they are in a rush to get you out of the store. They are always ready for a fight at even the slightest complaint or questioning.

This is a petshop that primarily sells tropical fish. I have been a loyal purchaser/fool buying fish from them. I spend more money replacing fish each time I add them to my aquarium. I had bought 7 gold fish 7 months ago in one go. These were the longest in my tank in all the hundreds of fish purchased. Last week we purchased an algae eater for the tank. Robert told us to add 2 table s**** salt to the tank. We should have suspected something then. This one fish infected my entire tank, ****ing my entire aquarium. I went to the store and spoke to Robert and Tracy. They laughed me off and did nothing to compensate me yet I have been purchasing from them for years. I asked to speak to the Manager Bryn. They refused to give me his number despite me asking for it. I maintain this guy is hiding from his customers for a reason. Take Accountability Bryn and stop hiding. I will not purchase again from them as it would appear this is how people get rich, selling infected fish (Vicious Circle). Ironically, they look like a clean place....all the glitters is not gold since there is an infestation. I will take this up further as there must be a board auditing these places.
