I called around to find the best cash priced optometrist and having been given what I thought was the cheapest quote off I went. After my eye test was horrified to find the price had suddenly changed!! I stormed off and after complaining to a friend, she told me of Winderemere Optomotrists who quoted me an amount almost 8 times less because I am 65 years of age.
