Call barred
I was contacted yesterday on 03/03/2020 from an unknown number, the person calling claimed to be from cell c. He wanted my personal details to confirm my identity with Cell c. I refused to give him and droppes the phone. Soon after the call i discovered my phone has been barred from making calls or sending sms. I do not have anotjer cell c sim so I can not phone cell c to inquire about the reason to bar outgoing calls on my sim. My account has been paid in full and as a matter of fact I am paid in advance. This is very very irritating.

Cell c doesn't have a working customer care
Very bad customer care once all over again that sucks, so what's the point of having customer care. Especially when you source it out and they have the audacity and attitude to always blame your phone settings, instead of just checking on their side! 0849671873 is my number.

Mobile I did not own
I was trying to open an account at Cell C for the mobile however the sales assistant advised me that my credit score was too low so they can offer me a credit of R350.00 while I wanted the mobile that costs R400 a month. So I wanted the IPhone 6. I told the sales lady that if you cannot approve for IPhone therefore I won't be taking other device. The sale lady authorized the other mobile which is I was not even aware that the lady approved something that I did not ask for. The money was deducted every month by Cell C for something that I don't even have or own. I went to the store multiple times and the manager couldn't assist me, all he does want telling me that he is going to call the Cell C head office and they will come back to me. I never received any call from them until I wrote on hello peter. After I reported the incident about Cell C, the team assisted me and I received my money back that was deducted. I also advised them that I wanted my name to be removed from their system. After that Cell C never deducted any money from my account. Thank you so much

Bad service with CellC
Cell C contacted me for a new contract 27/10/2019. I contacted them and chose the plan they suggested. After several calls, they said they made a mistake and now the plan is not available anymore and no one calls me back and the supervisors are too busy. After service of 20 years, this is not acceptable and I have all the call recordings. Thank you

Cell C contacted me for a new contract 27/10/2019. I contacted them and chose the plan they suggested. Cell C is a big no no.
Fellow citizens, try as much to stay away from taking contracts with Cell C. I early this year took two contracts with the BS company, one for a router and one for a cell phone. The relationship didn't work from the first month as Cell C debited me a wrong amount for the router contract and proceeded to list me on the credit bureau. I then decided to cancel the two contracts and I was told to pay R6250 to settle the Cellphone contract and R1760 to setlle the router one. However, a month later I get an SMS that I owe Cell C R1734. When I call thier billing department they tell me that the qoutes they gave me to cancel the contracts were just "commitment fees" and that I still owe them. I am beyond exhausted of the damage to my credit score due to the mistake I made in taking contracts with Cell C.

Still disappointed
Your consultant called me yesterday on the 1st of October 2019 regarding my complaint. And what she said was that the other consultant did mention that I should call and set a limit. We'll the thing is when she called me my phone was on speaker and the person I was with can't recall either hearing her saying that I should call to set a limit. What I recall is that she said Immediately after receiving the sim card I should call 184 140 and I asked her to repeat the number again and she said it's the same number for customer service. I thought by that it was for registration of the sim since I did when upgrading the contract I have. I did call 084135 the guy who answered my call didn't have a clue when I asked him about what I'm supposed to do instead he asked me what I wanted as I explain about the new sim and so on he transferred me to another department the lady there told me that there are working hours for that department so I should call tomorrow all this I did on the 27th the time was after 18:00 if I'm not mistaken. To my amazement on the 28th when I check the sim it was working so I thought there was no need to register the sim again. I used the sim on Saturday and Sunday and that's when I realized that it says I'm owing 200 and something, the thing is the data I've used from when I received the sim up to then it's not even 1gig not to mention 500mb but already I'm owing R200. Today my account was debited R28.38 which she did not mention when she was talking to me, what I recall is that she said asked when is cell c debiting my account and she said this first debit order will only start on the 27th of October but you've debited my account already and your consultants will call and say ' no ma'am she did say that'. I DON'T WANT THIS SIM CARD ANYMORE, PLEASE DON'T DEBIT MY ACCOUNT AGAIN THIS TIME. Just send me your account details and I will deposit the amount you say I owe you. And don't patronize me by saying how sorry you are and that you understand cause clearly you don't. PLEASE DON'T CALL ME AGAIN WITH ANY OFFERS, I have a contract with you after it's paid up I won't be doing any business with your company.

Poor service
I am not happy with the service I got from your call centre, spoke to Philile Xulu and Nompumelelo Zungu which both couldn't not assist on my contract sim for swim swap when the asked me questions which supposed to be on my credit profile and but I dont have such things on my credit profile and one question was when did I buy property which they gave the address as well and I am sitting here renting and has never bought any property, Cellc is failing us with its poor service and now I am sitting with my second sim card that I owe R197.00 emergency data because of their useless services they load data on my phone which I did not ask for and now they tell they are aware of the problem, I must not load airtime on my phone until when they dont know, I have 2 swim cards which both are cellc and I am leaving cell c can not continue which such service.

Poor service
