Yellodata is unreachable. There is no way you can cancel a contract with them. I wrote an email cancelling a data contract; a year later, they're still debiting my account. Yellodata also sibscribed me to gaming, without my consent. I've been trying for four months to reverse this action without success. They're debiting my account with R499 faithfully every month. I just cannot overturn this. I'm powerless. They are getting away with this and no one can help.

Yellodata is unreachable. There is no way you can cancel a contract with them. I wrote an email cancelling a data contract; a year later, they're still debiting my account. I have had a contract with Yellodata for years and never had any problems with them until August this year. They deducted an unauthorised amount from my account on an unauthorised deduction date. I was informed that they will reimburse me for the amount deducted. Since August, I have only received a portion of the amount back and after numerous emails and calls to them, I have not received any indication when all of my money will be paid back to me in full via email or telephonically. I have have since cancelled my contract with them.

I have had a contract with Yellodata for years and never had any problems with them until August this year. They deducted an unauthorised amount from my account on an unauthorised deduction date. I was informed that they will reimburse me for the amount deducted. Since August, I have only received a portion of the amount back and after numerous emails and calls to them, I have not received any indication when all of my money will be paid back to me in full via email or telephonically. Had a R59pm contract (done telephonically, confirmed that capped at R59pm/500mb). Come November, December and January 2021 an amount of R454pm was deducted (all previous deductions were R59pm). Emailed the complaint, referred them to the recording, they declined the refund. Clearly breached their own contract and is now hiding behind the "system". It would appear as if they have summarily changed the terms and conditions by themselves without my consent. Stay away from Yellodata.

This service is the absolute worst in terms of treatment of customer. Months ago I got debited R400 some odd for an R89 data plan. I called in to put a limit on so that it would not ever exceed my debit order amount. 6 months go by and everything goes off as norm. Last month this happened again. This month I was debited R887 for an R89 plan. ***!!! How please tell me did this happen. I want a refund and to cancel this horrible service with immediate effect.

I was called by a consultant offering data for R89.00. She had said that it will be loaded into my number, I have never received data till today but my account is debited monthly and its been long. I don't have their contact info so as to cancel subscription.

I have cancelled my service in June and my account has been debited today with the subscription. looking at the reviews i guess, i will go through the same pain all of you are experiencing. I have sent yellodata an email now to determine why my account was debited and not cancelled. i hope they can respond and refund me. Based on the reviews it seems if i do not get any assistance the best would be to go the consumer Ombudsman and report yellodata in terms of the consumer protection act. Yellodata please advise?

Make unlawful deductions from account. When requesting that it must be rectified, the excuse is that will take at least 21 work days to be done and that request has been escalated. Taking money after cancellations (cancellation was done in 2017 and debit order in May 2018). Not responding to emails anymore

This Company is Unethical and they are Thieves, I cancelled my contract in June of 2017 thereafter the still continued to Debit my account for a few months . I tried on numerous occasions to get my money back from them and they never repaid me. Eventually I gave up. Now all of a sudden out of the blue they debited my Account again. It's just ridiculous. I will be reporting them to the Ombudsman as well, whatever good that will do.
