I have been struggling for months with streaming and connectivity issues. Everytime we report it is not on their side but us as the clients. This is unacceptable. We pay for a service that is not worth paying for. I need someone to have a look into this as an increase on the plan is already in place since 1 February, but the service is as bad as it was before. I am really considering to cancel at this stage.

This firm gave me bad information. They claimed to have local support. They don’t. They misinformed me by not telling me that they would need to dig trenches in our community property. Then they charged me exorbitant amounts for cancelling the service. They did not keep their promises for the original installation date.

I had a very specific and technical issue with VOIP calling, texted the symptoms to Yutiliti, and received a quick response followed by resolution of the issue.

Appalling and utterly useless after-hours support — because it simply doesn’t exist. Calling Yutility outside of 08:00–17:00 on weekdays is a complete waste of time, as you’re met with a message reminding you they don’t operate after hours. No emergency support. No escalation path. Nothing. So what exactly is a customer supposed to do when their fibre connection goes down at the start of a long weekend? Sit in the dark and hope for the best? To make matters worse, their so-called “AI WhatsApp support” is nothing but a dead-end — it doesn’t respond at all. This level of service is not just disappointing — it’s disgraceful.

I humbily request Yutiliti Fibre please fix the endless network problems, having issues since day one 27 APRIL 2025, it's a nightmare. I lost lots of business due to poor network or no network. I cannot afford to cancel as I have to pay cancellation fees. Hoping in good faith Yutiliti Fibre will fix the problem or cancel with no fees.

No internet the whole week but I’m expected to pay full subscription fees and then when I want to cancel cause of the ****ty service you want to bill me yet I am unable to work coz of your internet being off line due to maintenance for a whole week? Who is going to refund all the money I spent buying data ? Yet when I’m one day late on payment you quick to suspend me . I also work in the fibre industry we don’t treat our clients this way . Then you want to have two price increases in a short space of time and not improve the level of service you give us as consumers this is a disgrace really I’m losing money cause of down time fix this ****ty service you giving us in the south coast other providers are up and running while yutiliti is always having maintenance issues

I signed up for Yutiliti Fibre in Herm**** in December 2024 for a service starting end of Jan 2025. I signed the contract for R580 service. First invoice I get is for R630. After enquiring I was told they had an annual increase. I was never notified about this increase and Yutiliti threaten with cancellation charges if I want to cancel the contract. Generally very poor customer service and communication, and just being pushed around between different departments with nobody able or willing to take responsibility. While I understand annual increases are necessary, these should be communicated to customers and customers should have the option to cancel without cancellation charges being app****! On the technical side, be aware that they send you a router but you have no ability to configure the router yourself?! For example, you can't change the wifi SSID and/or password yourself and default password they set is anything but secure. If you want to configure your own router they refuse to provide technical support.. not empowering and had much better experience with Afrihost!
