Zerbrina Guesthouse
What a find, everything was perfect the rooms were extremely comfortable and were equipped with everything you needed. The staff were very friendly and helpfull and to top it off the breakfast was amazing.

Bad service
I must say im really disappointed by the level of service offered by receptionist Benny or management in general. Benny literally told me that i cannot have visitors in the room as i have to pay extra for them. Are you guys running student Res or bnb? He kept on spying on me to see if i have a vistor and went as far as texting me in the evening telling me *******. Im never setting foot at that bnb ever. Please try other places as this one is bad, there’s absolutely no peace as you receive texts and threats that you have to pay this and that. To hell.

Bad service
I must say im really disappointed by the level of service offered by receptionist Benny or management in general. Benny literally told me that i cannot have visitors in the room as i have to pay extra for them. Are you guys running student Res or bnb? Unwilling to pay back money
Do NOT book this guest house! I have been waiting for days for a refund of a booking that I cancelled more than months before the days we had booked for. Zebrina blames Booking.com(who we booked with), but they deducted the money immediately when we booked. Utterly disappointed! Save your money and don't even consider such an unscrupulous guest house such as Zebrina.

IF PERSONAL SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS A PRIORITY, THEN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
IF SAFETY AND WELL BEING IS YOUR PRIORITY, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE Disappointed at the treatment and handling of matters at Zebrina Guest House. My partner and I were booked in for three (3) nights from 28.01.2022 to 31.01.2022 and the unfortunate happened. On the first night we had a break in, at around 4 am, while we were asleep, our very pricey personal items were stolen. We only realised that there’s someone in the room only when he was jumping out the window and running away. MIND YOU, THE WINDOWS DO NOT HAVE ANY FORM OF SECURITY, NO BURGLAR BARS NO ALRAM SYSTEM ON THE PREMISISE. We tried to report the incident immediately but when my partner quickly ran to the reception, it was closed. WE TRIED TO FIND HELP THERE WAS NOT EVEN ONE SECURITY GUARD ON THE PREMISES OR SOMEONE MAKING ROUNDS TO ENSURE THAT THE GUESTS ARE SAFE. We had to wait until 7am (when they opened reception) to report the matter. The only thing the receptionist did was look at the CCTV footage, which showed the intruder coming in and targeting only our room, that also made us very suspicious that the staff could be on it too. Furthermore, the receptionist told us to go to the police station to report the matter and assured us that they will replace our stolen items and refund us our money back because we decided to check out. When we got to the police station, they told us the guest house needs to call them and report the break in as this is considered a serious crime. We drove back and told them and the receptionist at the guest house called the police and they will be arriving shortly, she assured us that she will follow up with the police if it happens that they do not arrive. Due to the state of mind that my partner and I were in because of this traumatic experience at this particular guest house we decided to leave and trust what the receptionist said to us. Till this day the police have not arrived and we have no case number. It is how unprofessional they have been when handling this matter. We have been constantly calling them, sending text messages and emails to the guest house and to this day we haven’t received a satisfactory response from the Zebrina Guest House management. We have asked to speak to the owner/manager of this place, a number of times but every time they make up stories that he is unavailable or they can’t give out his number. Till today we haven’t had a conversation with him, we’ve been in conversation with the receptionist the entire time. The last straw was when they sent us a text to inform us that they will not be reimbursing our stolen items which they had assured us that they will. THEREFORE,IF SAFETY IS YOUR NUMBER ONE CONCERN WHEN VISITING A PLACE, THEN I WOULDN’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY AT THE ZEBRINA GUESTHOUSE. IT IS NOT SAFE ALL!!!

Last Minute Cancellation 2 days before Stay !
They own and operate other property around South Africa. They Dropped us last minute for a longer booking for more money and gave us no options 2 days before arriving and that was using a reputable booking site. We travel frequently and use a lot of services for work purposes and i will definitely not recommend this place. Not only did they drop us 2 days before a long weekend after confirming the booking and taking payment, they left us with no other options and no cares. They do not honor the first come first serve system. Stay Away

RASIST
Management have big racism against black guest that visit their place, there treat them like piece of rubbish and still believe the blacks must say 'YES SIR/MAM'. I visited a place and asked the white guy working there about my wife coming over, they chased my wife telling me i should write a letter to them, and even took pictures of her without her permission. they went through bin to check the condoms its disgusting. i wont recommend the place to any one.

RASIST
Management have big racism against black guest that visit their place, there treat them like piece of rubbish and still believe the blacks must say 'YES SIR/MAM'.
