I attended a wedding at your venue during October and had booked to stay overnight at your lodge. I found that it was very difficult to get in contact with you telephonically, leaving messages which were not returned. I tried e mail and received no replies. This went on from May through to September. When I eventually managed to get you on the phone, you informed me that you had been replying to my e mails. I eventually established that you were not using the correct email address!! This was just the beginning of a disastrous interaction between ourselves. Upon arrival at the lodge, I went to reception and was directed to a dwelling that I would be sharing with the bride's family. No one accompanied us to our room. The accommodation proved to be 3 bedrooms with a small sitting room. Two of the bedrooms had en suite bathrooms, the third was just a room with 2 single beds. The upstairs room had a small kitchenette but no kettle. As we were sharing with a couple who had 1 small child and a baby, they obviously had to have the room with the double bed, particularly as the promised cots were not provided. The en suite bedroom downstairs was for the bride's parents. Therefore there was no bathroom facilities that I could use without disturbing one of the married couples. When I went to reception to ask about this, I was rudely told that I should take the matter up with the bride and groom. I found this completely unacceptable as I certainly was not about to spoil their special day!
