My experience with 24 Hour Garage Doors was unacceptable from start to finish. Once payment was made, the owner, Leslie, became largely unresponsive and unreachable for close to two weeks, despite repeated follow-ups. During this period, my gate motor was removed and my property was left unsecured. When he eventually returned, the work was still incomplete. Only one remote was programmed, I was given a single key, and no proper handover or resolution took place. Communication stopped again immediately afterward. Upfront payment was requested urgently, but delivery, accountability, and after-sales support did not follow. I also had concerns regarding the payment arrangements requested, which further eroded trust. This business showed a clear pattern of poor communication, unfinished work, and disappearing once paid. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend 24 Hour Garage Doors to anyone. Use extreme caution

We've paid Leslie Harmse for a Gatemotor + installation, and the installation was faulty, and the anti-theft bracket was also defective. Now that we've spent, we are being ignored. Leslie keeps on promising (when he eventually answers his phone) that he'll send someone out, but to no avail. No one is pitching to fix the problem. We want to warn others not to get trapped - Leslie is also the owner of RSACarports.co.za - he is not worth 1 star, but it seems like one cannot leave a review without choosing a star.

After he sent his people to do an initial assessment, Leslie said he could do the job. After a few times of promising to start the work, today became tomorrow. I paid a R4000 deposit and from there that's when it got worst. He doesn't take my calls, and when he does After a few days he says tomorrow. I found someone else to do the job and I have requested my money back but no luck. I gues i will have to resort to other means to gwt my money back. Leslie is the most unreliable and the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with.

I had an awful experience with Leslie Beukes, Shaun and Fred from 24-Hour Garage Doors. It all started when I contacted them to repair my AlphaPro 2000 garage motor. They came out and took out the motor as they supposedly could only fix the motor at their "workshop". They did return the motor after I had to phone and ask when it would be returned. The repaired motor only lasted three months, so I had to phone them again as it was unacceptable service. They eventually came again and fetched the motor, but it was a mission to get them to bring it back and that only after threats. They also did not connect it to the open/close control buttons on the wall in the garage and the motor came back without the white cover. I have tried to phone numerous times and sent messages to bring back the cover, but they decline or ignore my calls. Today I got a voice message where Leslie says that they never took the cover with which is blatant lie, as I have proof they did. Please refrain from using this company they have absolutely no pride in what they are doing and do not know the meaning of client service. Absolutely poor, poor service!!

5th February 2025 my brother arrived from Australia, did research on Garage Roller Door Services for good & quick service for my car security.this was paid for & installed 1st week of February. He returned home 18th February with the satisfaction he'd done the right thing. late 24th March i called the company to please come & check the lock as it had jammed. They got paid & obviously not interest in i n helping with a repair on new product. They kept me waiting all day 226th March as i mentioned it would be a security risk to leave garage open over night. They don't answer their phone! i On WhatsApp was told 26th, they will get back to me they in a meeting. Late afte4noon still had any feedback, it was storming & when i did get hold of someone to find out where they are as service offered 24/7. ,they said they parked their vehicles, went home, no communication to us. the next day 27th March, i Whatsapp the again, said i was concerned about their delay & concern about the security risk on my Toyota Corolla & now wouldn' t be insured. They said they will come after 5pm. I was not happy at their lack of interest to get the job required done. We sat again, nobody pitched. 28th March i WhatsApp again 1st thing in the morning about my security concern. 09.30am Received a message saying that they were booked up & would come after they spoke to the Technician's re his availability. I said this was very unprofessional on a new product sold. I hhave never had an apology or told when they will eventually come & my car would be safe. It is the 30th March & still no sign of a technician coming. My garage is right in front of the gate & the concern of a break in was worrisome. Is this how you treat a new client. ! I have call records etc as proof. As an elderly pensioner & basically very worried about the security risk at this stage. I wouldn't refer them to anyone for a quick & professional 24/7 service. I'm left ganging!!!!

They install dead garage motors that will not last a week. They take full prizr snd ignore your calls and WhatsApp messages. Before they attend to you, they are good. After they took your money, you won't here from them. They are ******.

We have paid them to come out and do a repair to our roller door. We had to pay them up front for the work, and now they have been paid the do not take our calls. I managed to get through to their other number for RSA Carports, which are the same company shown on their invoice, was told they would call me straight back, but now dont answer that phone when ever we call. This company has been paid, and I will now go and lay a charge of ***** against them with the police. The company is not a registered company, so therefore its a sole proprietary, and the owner is personally liable. I would strongly recommend that you never use this company.
