Shoddy Unethical Work from 4x4 Mega World Edenval

I took my Engel 40l Fridge to 4x4 Mega World in Edenvale for repair on the 1st of December 2020. The fault was a non-responsive cabinet temperature monitor. After inspection of the Fridge, I was informed that the cabinet temperature unit was faulty, and it needed a new battery. I agreed to the quote of R850 and they proceeded with the repair. A few hours after collecting my Fridge the cabinet temperature monitor again was not displaying the temperature! I decided to inspect the unit myself. I found that they did not replace the cabinet temperature monitor as quoted, the new battery was held in with a piece of paper and one could clearly see that the O-ring sealing the monitor was not present. The bulkhead thread was also stripped during the repair. The work performed was uphauling and unethical. I have serious trust issues with the Edenvale branch and would not recommend them. I am waiting to see how they will respond to their shoddy repair work.
