On Sunday I was so sick, had to call emergency care service to help me out as I had short breath, I have given the emergency call center service my Discovery membership number to enable them to transfer me to network . On my request I made if clear that I'm on network hospital offer and can I be taken to Waterfall hospital, they took me to Unitas hospital which is not covered on my plan. I had paid out R688,40 at Unitas as this is not on my network. The rudeness of the netcare paramedic was bad, imagine this was my first time being in emergency and as well seeking medical assistance. I now understand why people when they are sick they rather die in their homes . The paramedic inserted the drip incorrectly and when I asked she was so rude and arrogant that I even asked the other male paramedic to assist in taking it out on my left arm, which left pains and bruises . Someone has to be responsible for all this bad service and monies involved.
