I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at the upper level bar of A Streetbar Named Desire on Saturday 15th February. Whilest I was out with friend and sitting at the bar for the duration of the evening, as tables were fully booked.
During my visit, I was billed more than double the amount for the round of drinks I ordered for my friends. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this experience felt more like an intentional act of overcharging, which is both ********* and unacceptable.
When patrons are out to enjoy themselves, it is easy to be taken advantage of by ************ practices such as these. This kind of behavior is nothing short of ******* and reflects poorly on your establishment. I am considering escalating this matter to the national consumer protector, as I believe it is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. I can't even imagine how many other customers experienced this.
Furthermore, the customer service I received was far from satisfactory. Had the service been excellent, I would have gladly left a generous tip. However, being ******** by a bartender is a significant reason why I would hesitate to return to A Streetbar Named Desire. For me and my friends.
I hope you take this complaint seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I do not recall the name of the bartender but as mentioned he was servicing on the upper level bar, bald man. Its great to form good relations with waiters and tip them for their excellent service but being ******** is a disgrace for such a great venue in Parkwood.
