I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at the upper level bar of A Streetbar Named Desire on Saturday 15th February. Whilest I was out with friend and sitting at the bar for the duration of the evening, as tables were fully booked. During my visit, I was billed more than double the amount for the round of drinks I ordered for my friends. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this experience felt more like an intentional act of overcharging, which is both ********* and unacceptable. When patrons are out to enjoy themselves, it is easy to be taken advantage of by ************ practices such as these. This kind of behavior is nothing short of ******* and reflects poorly on your establishment. I am considering escalating this matter to the national consumer protector, as I believe it is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. I can't even imagine how many other customers experienced this. Furthermore, the customer service I received was far from satisfactory. Had the service been excellent, I would have gladly left a generous tip. However, being ******** by a bartender is a significant reason why I would hesitate to return to A Streetbar Named Desire. For me and my friends. I hope you take this complaint seriously and take appropriate action to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. I do not recall the name of the bartender but as mentioned he was servicing on the upper level bar, bald man. Its great to form good relations with waiters and tip them for their excellent service but being ******** is a disgrace for such a great venue in Parkwood.
I am utterly annoyed with WebAfrica!! Last month my account was paid twice, I since contacted the customer service department and communicated with several people to assist me in getting a refund of R399. I had to send the same information to several people and yet still no resolution to my query. Today my account was debited. I honestly don't understand why I am not getting my refund. I've been using this service for a while now and yet this is poor customer service. The Whatsapp service is not working either???
I came across the Pastry Skin Care brand on Beauty on TApp's Instagram page and its been a most wonderful discovery. Pastry sells one of the best skin care products I have ever used, especially because its formulated to cater to the African skin, as you know our skin concerns differ according to our African sun and weather patterns. I love Pastry skin care and would highly recommend it to gents. Gents this is your glow up era, look after yourself
Earlier this year I stumbled upon what seemed to be a really great invetment opportunity with SD Farmlink which is owned by Mr Sinethemba Dleke. I was really impressed at first and I thought that this would be the start of a wonderful relationship in changing lives through alternative investments. On the 18th January 2021 I signed up with the SD Farmlink Stokvel investment and I paid the shipping fee of which was R300 plus my investment for the E-wallet Pro investment of which I paid R3000. The total investment I made was R3300. My hard earned income I sacrificed in this business because I believed it would change my life as presented by Mr Sinethemba. I was informed that after 3 months I would be getting my pay out of R6000 which is the investment. On the 4th February 2022 I received my confirmation letter which stated that the business has received my investment and that I would get my pay out between the 10th - 15th of May 2022 of R6000. I was excited and I waited patiently for my investment which was the money that I really needed. I received the letter from Aphelele via email sdfarmlink1@gmail.com. On the 28th April 2022 I also then received an email from the business as they asked for my banking confirmation letter which I sent them. 10th May 2022 I received a notice from the business that the May payouts would be delayed due to their own challenges and that I would get my payout in June 2022. They told me that I would get my pay out between 10th - 15th June 2022. I was waiting very patiently since January 2022 and today it is 14 July 2022 and I have still not received my payout. I saw on their instagram profile where Mr Sinethemba posted on his status the people that received their payouts however I was excluded. I am deeply disheartened and disappointed in business that promised life changing opportunity, especially for me as a coloured person I believed that this would be a great investment to change my life. I messaged Aphelele on whatsapp to enquire about my payouts and still today I have not received my payouts. SD Farmlink is a registered business and I purchased from them and I did not get my product of which is a payout. I would like to inform the public that this business does not stand to their word. I wonder if there are more people that has invested into SD Farmlink with their hard earned cash and yet did not receive a cent back from SD Farmlink opportunity. I sent my confirmation letter, my order number, as well as my banking details numerous time to them and still today I have not received my payout. I also wonder if I can raise this matter to the consumer protector should I not get my payout back. Thank you.
Earlier this year in February (2018), our Telkom land line as well as ADSL service went offline. After inquiring with Telkom, we received communication that there has been cable theft in our area and that Telkom would not be replacing the cables in our area. The customer service person said that Telkom would be providing us with a wireless phone and sim card as well as internet service would be restored that would replace the conventional land line and ADSL. Since February we received NOTHING. I have called Telkom's call center hundreds of times and no one cares and no one wants to help get our service back on line. Every month we receive a bill charging us and yet we are without service. This is absolute disgusting service that a business can completely neglect its customer for almost a year. I am very disappointed with Telkom. We received a query reference which is 27CRK140118 and our land line number is ********** . A consultant told me that he placed the order for the wire-less phone and simcard for internet, but till today we have got nothing.
In December 2014 I applied for a Personal Loan with ABSA bank, Randburg branch. Like with everyone else, life happens and things tend to slide in the finances. I was overwhelmed with debt and needed to breath. In November 2015 I applied for debt review with Debt Rescue, agreements were signed and all was well... or so I thought. The total capital on the personal loan with ABSA as at 18 December 2014 was R96,368.00 which I needed to pay back to close the account. The court order declared a balance of R88,401.77 on the 19th April 2016 & since then I have been paying faithfully, I even managed to pay more than I agreed over the years, thinking it would help clear my balance faster. To my surprise I received the latest balance from ABSA, now in September 2018 stating that I owe them R84,390.38 in order to settle the account. After having paid R52,714.73 since I started the debt review. How is this possible? where has my R52,714.73 gone? Are you telling me that all this time I have been only paying interest? I have been a loyal client of ABSA since I was 15 years old, having my very first bank account opened with them. I feel ill treated. I e-mailed ABSA & Debt Rescue a million times and no one is able to answer my questions on how I still owe ABSA this much money? they said that I will only pay them up in 2025 (7 years from now with a forecast of over R200,000). I am being robbed. I trusted that Debt Rescue was able to do exactly that - rescue me - but its all been a lie. Where is my money going to each month? has R52,714.73 just magically disappeared, are you telling me that I am paying no capital at all? I want answers!!! How has R96,368 opening balance turned into a quarter million rand.
about a month ago our telephone residential line lost connection. we cant make or receive calls - as a result I am unable to use the router as there is no internet connection due to the land line being down

we used the sms complaints platform and kept getting the message that our query has been escalated and that a technician would be sent to investigate and resolve the matter. that was weeks ago!!! and till today NOTHING. i then sent a mail and a consultant replied saying the same thing but still nothing.

This is really bad service, its also annoying as i need to use the internet especially because I study and need to do assignments, communicate with the university, etc...

this is unfair especially because my parents in their old age years use the land line.

very bad and unprofessional service! i honestly dont understand how a customer can be treated like this with over 4 weeks going buy and no one takes the initiative to resolve this matter. this is ridiculous. at this stage i am considering taking my business to another residential land line and internet service provider.

can someone please help? our residential number is 011673999
