I received a poor service with Telkom ,my data gone without being used and they couldn't assist. I will definitely destroy the Telkom sim card and will never recommend people to use Telkom. I have seen it for who they are, they don't care about their customers, all they care about is our money.

Anyone else experiencing issues with Telkom LTE uncapped off peak data. Internet connection is supposed to return at midnight but it returns 30 min later And the past 2 days it's been offline most of the time and the constant messages that don't makes sense according to the package I've subscribed for, are annoying

A Telkom cell phone contract was *****ulently opened in my name in October 2025 ( I am a Telkom pay as you go client) and after much up and down, police affidavits , numerous visits to Telkom shops and endless phone calls to the call centre and the ***** department reversing of incorrect debit orders (for which I was charged of course) it was finally resolved and declared as *****ulent. Much to my surprise in November 2025 another contract (this time a data/router service) was *****ulently opened in my name again. How this was done again stunned me as the previous *****ulent case was still on Telkom's CRM system as *****. Surely someone at Telkom should have taken a look at this and used common sense and queried it? Needless to say it has been up and down, call centre calls , a visit to Telkom head office in Pretoria by myself after months of frustration and no resolution to the problem. It is now March 2026 and I am still struggling with debit orders being deducted from my bank account for the *****ulent data contract. Nobody ever gets back to you , you are treated like an irritation and the problem is still not sorted out. As a side note when I drove all the way to Pretoria out of pure frustration to talk to a human being and not a call centre I wasn't allowed access to the premises and ended up talking to someone at the Telkom call centre on the security guard's cell phone outside the entrance. It is actually an absolute disgrace the way I have been treated. The money it has cost me in time and petrol and reversing of debit orders etc is ridiculous. And still I have a query for a R1500 "penalty" for "my data account" which I haven't paid.. I am at a total loss as I am now on my way to a Telkom shop for the umpteenth time to sort this out ..

Telkom customer service is garbage man, absolutely atrocious. I called to ask for my number to get reinstated and was told to go to a physical store. Went to the store at Clearwater mall and they told me they can't assist, and need to call the contact centre. Clearly I'm been given the run around. Terrible terrible service smh.

I had the worst experience dealing with Telkom customer service and billing department, Zinhle from the billing department has not responded to my emails sent more than a month a go to view my bank statements after requesting it. My account has been debited twice as negligence from Telkoms billing department was ***********. Till to date no one came forth as to why my account has been debited twice with no indication of returning the money.

On the 09 March 2026 at about 10:30 to 11:00 in the morning,i went to Telkom store in Centurion mall,to find out why my prepaid number which i had ported from Mtn to Telkom as early as the year 2018 was deactivated,to my surprise there were five if not more store personnel on duty gathered in one corner,one lady who addressed me in Sesotho approached me while i was pressing the store ticket generating machine,i greeted her while i was reading and choosing the reason for my store visit on the machine,she kept quite with no response,she cancelled my ticket before the machine could even generate the ticket without saying nor explaining the reason for that.I was surprised but i went ahead in explaining the reason for my store visit,she was also trying to block me from entering further into the store to conduct her interview at the door,she also told me when i will never ever get access to my number again she alleged when my number had been blocked by Telkom and was sure that i would not be getting it back,even after i had indicated that i had been enquiring about this for the longest period without a direct answer provided,i requested her to check on their computer what was written as the reason for the deactivation,or the last person who was using the number.I presented my phone to her to prove that i have been receiving some strange sms with different people being reminded to come pay their accounts on the number,that was the only time she proceeded to press the store computer keyboard.Afterwards that is when i left the store and was dissapoints that this lady had not shown any empathy nor sympathy on my complain as a customer even when i explained that i had been using that number from 1998.From the moment i greeted her and she kept quite,that gave me a feeling that all was not going to be well with that store visit.

Good evening all My dad was due for an upgrade on his telkom contract He went to telkom at the Glen they have confirmed that yes indeed the number is due for an upgrade . He wanted an IPhone ,the manager at the Glen telkom advised my dad to go to the Istore advise them that he is due for an upgrade on this specific number and they will upgrade the phone. He did as instructed, at the Istore the lady assisting advised that they picked up an error they escalate to Telkom and telkom will resolve the issue Its now 2 weeks later almost and the issue is not resolved My dad has escalated to Customer service they did call him and he was advised that the issue is resolved and he can go to istore and get the phone When he gets to IStore the same issue still persist Today we went to telkom the Glen again They advised there is no issue on their side the contract is approved The istore still has the same issue The manager then went across to the istore She checked the system she advised that istore needs to escalate to a manager in telkom ,the lady from the istore has been escalating telkom is ignoring her mails as they are doing with my dad. Who can assist us at telkom to resolve this issue ? We have been sending emails to customer service We have been calling all they do is transfer calls that's all There is no customer service at telkom each company is blaming the next I have screen shots sent via email to telkom and still they don't care
