I posted on Facebook for people to provide their contact details that can assist me with a COC for my late mother's house.

I sent all the contacts received to the Real Estate Agent. He contacted the person called Anton (from Benoni) and they made the necessary arrangements.

He paid the deposit as requested and the "contractor / electrician" informed him that he has completed the COC and require the balance + R100 courier fee. The agent paid the balance.

We received no COC and followed up. Every time he had an excuse. I eventually got involved and sent messages. He told me he will call me back. After waiting an entire day, he did not return my call. I called him and he rejected my calls and then turned his phone off. Same for the agent.
