Burger King always used to be a decent fast food restaurant. The food, presentation and service was excellent at a time. It has sadly deteriorated immensely. It's dirty, food is poor quality, presentation lacks, service is disgusting. I was at Burger King Centurion Lifestyle 7 August. Driving out of my way and sitting in traffic for a very long time. I get there and we sit and wait for an answer at the drive thru. The car infront of me waits very long before a voice sounds over the intercom. I even sent my son to go check if the BK is open. He places an order and moves on. I get to the intercom to order. I order a Big King Medium Meal. BK: Sorry we have no drinks. ME: What do you mean. What will I then get with the meal? BK: You need to order water, a shake or an ice tea. ME: OK, but I am paying the same for the meal then with any of those drinks? BK: No you have to pay extra. I then called for the manager Sam. He informed me that they are not allowed to give me a drink with my meal if I don't pay extra for it. So I have to pay for a meal and buy the drink separate. I asked him where the notification has been put up and all I got is that they don't have it up yet. I informed hik that I will be leaving. My little one started crying because she really wants BK. I drove on to the payment window and there was no one. Then I drove to the next window. I had to get out the car to ask for assistance. Then they tell me to drive back to order and pay. I do this and still no one at the window. I end up hooting. Someone arrives and takes my order. I then inform the lady of the very poor service and that I will post on Hello Peter. As I open my Hello Peter, I noticed 1.6k complaints. I showed it to the lady. She was just so snotty. This is the worst service I have ever had at any fast food restaurant. They don't even try to make a plan. They just don't care and the attitude is ridiculous. Last time I will buy from them.
I placed an order online for a bath. This was on 17 April. My order was supposed to be delivered 25 April. On 24 April they call us to inform us that there is no stock!! I am moving into my house on 28 April and cannot go without the bath as it needs to be installed and we had to make special arrangements. There is however stock at the branches??? How can I order online, pay for it and then there is no stock all of a sudden?? I called the online helpline and was placed on hold by someone that did not even give me a chance to speak. After waiting for a long time, I cancelled the call and tried again. I spoke to Musa. She was very rude and just said they will call back. This is very poor service and the attitudes are a disgrace. I need my bath delivered as per my order. Go and get one from a branch that has stock!
I bought 3 hoverboards on OneDayOnly for my kids. The eldest informed me that she would rather have something else so I logged a return on 19 December for 1 hoverboard. The courier collected the item on 20 December. I paid for the collection and all was well. I received an email from OneDayOnly on 24 December confirming receipt of the item and that the refund will be paid into my account within 3 to 5 days from the 24th of December. I did not receive my refund and followed up on 31 December (6 days post the email). I spoke to a customer service representative who informed me that they are awaiting the 2nd item to be returned before processing the refund. I only returned 1 item and informed them of such. Upon investigation, it was confirmed that someone incorrectly captured my return as 2 items, so the refund was placed on hold. They did not contact me to ask about a second item or queried it. They arranged the collection for 20 December (which I paid for) and sent me a confirmation email on 24 December. They have the item and my money and only processed the refund today (31 December) and informed me that it will be in my account within 3 to 5 days from today. I have to wait about 10 days for a refund due to a mistake on their side.... The item I purchased was a Christmas gift for my daughter. I returned the item (unopened) by 19 December so that I could hopefully get her another present in time. Now I need to wait until 8 January for my refund. This is very poor service and I am very frustrated. I spend thousands with OneDayOnly and this will likely be my last. If this is how they do business, I am not is support of it.
I posted on Facebook for people to provide their contact details that can assist me with a COC for my late mother's house. I sent all the contacts received to the Real Estate Agent. He contacted the person called Anton (from Benoni) and they made the necessary arrangements. He paid the deposit as requested and the "contractor / electrician" informed him that he has completed the COC and require the balance + R100 courier fee. The agent paid the balance. We received no COC and followed up. Every time he had an excuse. I eventually got involved and sent messages. He told me he will call me back. After waiting an entire day, he did not return my call. I called him and he rejected my calls and then turned his phone off. Same for the agent.
1. 29 November 2017: Bought 1st Sealy Boston mattress from Eric Barnard. 2. August 2018: Report of mattress problem to Eric Barnard. Experiencing constant lower back pain. No one responded and called them for an email contact. Sent emails and got no feedback. 3. December 2018: Complained to Eric Barnard again that the mattress is faulty. They arranged for an exchange. 4. 14 January 2019: Reported it to Eric Barnard again. Wynand responded and I was advised to contact Sealy directly on 011 309 4000. 5. 28 January 2019: Received new Boston mattress from Eric Barnard. 6. After just a few weeks I complained about the new mattress as this was also not correct and still had continuous back aches. 7. Contacted Sealy (Bravo) and spoke to Benjamin a few times since then. 8. 29 April 2019: Informed Benjamin that I have again complained to Eric Barnard end of May and that they will send it to Bravo so that an inspector can be arranged. 9. 30 April 2019: Benjamin requested from me to reopen a complaint AGAIN. He will then arrange with one of the seniors to come and inspect my bed. 10. John from Eric Barnard confirmed that he sent the complaint to Bravo on 30 April 2019. 11. Devika (inspector) came to our house and inspected the mattress. There was a factory fault. She informed us that she has arranged for the factory to assist us with the upgrade and ensure that it has the correct comfort for me and my husband. 12. May 2019: When we got there, we were informed by Benjamin that he cannot take us for the testing and should go to the showroom to lie on the mattresses and see what we think. This was done and we chose a more expensive mattress, thinking that this has to be better because it is in the Crown Jewel range. 13. 16 May 2019: I received an upgrade letter from Benjamin. It contained the following information: 14. I made payment on 14 July as this is when I could afford the upgrade: 15. The Rodeo Extra Firm Bed was delivered on 29 July 2019: 16. 04 November 2019: Sent email to Benjamin informing him that there is something wrong with Rodeo mattress as we are experiencing major back problems. We turned it regularly as prescribed but did not work at all. This is within 3 months after receiving the new mattress which we have spent R 12,000 on. 17. 06 November 2019: Sent another email as there was no response. 18. 08 November 2019: Sent another email as there was no response. 19. 12 November 2019: Sent another email as there was no response and informed Benjamin that this was my 4th email to him without receiving any response. When I called, I was informed that the inspector is not available anymore and will have to reschedule. 20. 14 November 2019: Bravo sent out an inspector and it was reported (I don’t have any record of this report) that there is no fault with the mattress. 21. 19 November 2019: Requested Benjamin to refund me as I receive no assistance and the bed is not as it should be. 22. 20 November 2019: I was informed by Benjamin that there is no guarantee for comfort. (This after it has nothing to do with comfort!! It is giving you serious, long lasting back problems.) They only service factory related faults. 23. 20 November 2019: Got into contact with Siphokazi, which is Benjamin’s superior. Explained the entire situation and was just informed that there is nothing wrong with the mattress and they will not assist any further. 24. 20 November 2019: Posted on Hello Peter. Received no response or help. I have reported the faulty mattress within 3 months from receipt thereof. It was brushed off as the “inspector’s” report stated that there is no factory fault. So, the inspector from November 2019 gave a report that there is nothing wrong with the mattress and now there actually is???? We have also measured the mattress and it is out with 8cm. So, it has been faulty since the day we got it. This time I am told that I am out of my warranty and need to pay R6,5k. This after I originally reported it as faulty only within 3 months after they delivered it. I am not liable for any costs as there are FACTORY FAULTS, and it is the responsibility of Bravo to correct this as a matter of urgency. Every December we go to our holiday home. We sleep on a Cloud 9 there. We can enjoy our sleep. We feel rested and no aches when we get up. Return home to our very expensive bed, we start having all the same back issues as before. We have to ignore it because the report from the inspector back in November 2019 said that there is no fault and we just have to suck it up. Now in January 2023, post our December holiday, we started noticing our backs aching once again. This time it is so bad that I have to go to a Chiropractor for treatment. It feels as if my hips are completely dislocated. The Chiropractor confirmed that there is a problem with my sleeping position and I have to continue treatment for my lower back. It is currently in a position where I cannot cough, sneeze, bend, sit or stand for too long otherwise it causes a sharp pain shooting through my back. 17 January 2023: I report it to Bravo once again. Arrangements were made for an inspector to come out 18 January. 18 January 2023: Inspector reported back to Bravo and has found that the mattress HAS FACTORY FAULTS!! January 2023 continue: I received feedback from Rachel at Bravo that they will waiver the warranty and that I should go to Eric Barnard and see what I want. I have asked her to please explain the process. She informed me that we can discuss this matter further only after I go to Eric Barnard. John from Eric Barnard has informed me that he cannot help with anything but we can come and test the Lindsay there. There is no other option for us and this is the best Bravo and Eric Barnard can do. I don’t want another Sealy. This was a very bad experience and I am suffering because of them and now they don’t want to give me my money back. The costs that I have incurred is as follows: 1. R 6,200 (29 November 2017 to Eric Barnard for Sealy Boston) 2. R 9,400 (28 Januarie 2019 to Eric Barnard for new Sealy Boston) 3. R 2,937.50 (14 July 2019 to Bravo Group for upgrade from Sealy Boston to Rodeo) Total of R 18,534.50 Above and beyond this, I have been suffering with constant and intense lower back ache and problems. I have been for deep tissue massages and have been seeing the Chiropractor for a few month now. This has cost me over R3,000. I still have to continue with treatment so not sure where I will end up. Every morning when I get up, I can barely get out of bed. I cannot even sneeze or cough as there is a sharp shooting pain running through my lower back. I cannot do basic tasks like washing, making a bed, sitting for more than an hour, play with my kids etc. I have 3 kids and a husband. I must take care of them, but I can barely move. This has taken a great deal out of me, and I cannot go on like this. The Chiro has prescribed I should go for a CASA branded mattress instead. I have asked them what they have with this brand. They replied that they don’t have any mattress with this logo. 03 February 2023: They now want me to pay in to upgrade for a bed prescribed by Eric Barnard. I have refused. I feel that I have paid for nothing but faulty products and now they want more. 07 February 2023: Called Bravo Brands to speak to Riaan Strydom, but they also refuse to transfer me. I am fed-up with this place and their faulty products.

No stars for you!! Andy of Rendeco has done a very bad job sealing my roof and it has been months of begging him to fix his mess. He quoted me, I accepted and had to pay a deposit. He pitched up on 26 August with his two guys and left them to seal the roof. I then asked him to take photos when he came around to check on them as it was way too high for me. Where I then realised they only painted the sides of the roof and I paid for a full coverage of entire roof. I told him immediately that this is not what he quoted and were instructed to seal the entire roof. He told them that the sealant may not be enough but they confirmed it was and continued. Late afternoon he came to collect his guys and they confirmed everything was good and covered. After some time and when the rainy season started we could hear water dripping on the ceiling. This was late November and beginning December. I informed him and he said he is going away and will have to do it in the new year. On 19 January I contacted him asking him to schedule an inspection and to finish it off properly. No response. Since then I asked him when he will be able to come every week for 4 months. I am sick and tired of asking. He has also informed me thay he is immigrating and selling his business which means I have no guarantee (10 year) on this job done. Money money money - that is all that matters to certain people. Pay deposit and quick to demand final payment but can easily do a ****py job and not care. Do not support this company.
My neighbor contacted Axxess, their internet provider to arrange for an installation / upgrade. On the 28th of January they came out to complete the task. It was raining for days (during tropical storm Eloise time). They dug up the grass and ground next to my driveway to lay cables. After digging they placed all the grass and sand onto my paved driveway. The rain came down very hard and they left the hole open. The ground underneath my paving started to shift and with the weight on top of the paving it caused the paving to sink into the ground. They then just filled up the hole after completing whatever they were doing and left it like that. When I came home from work my husband was outside speaking to one of the guys who were still there. He just said he did not do it and that they will come to replace the bricks they broke next to our water meter. I have made numerous calls and sent numerous emails. I sent photos and all the information I had. They just refuse to come out and say that they require tangible information. This is very frustrating and unprofessional. I am not even the client but have to suffer damage due to someone else's negligence. Do not know who works in pouring rain digging up ground anyway. I am being ignored and the neighbors do not want to be involved, even though this is them who wanted the installation done. I am disgusted.
My first attempt to buy my own new mattress turned into a nightmare. We bought a Boston Sealy mattress and had it returned after my husband and myself had major backaches and after we spent our vacation on another bed without any back pain and having peaceful sleep. It was confirmed that it was faulty and were bought a new mattress (same spec). After 3 months, I reported that we still have the same problem and not sleeping well at all. We were invited by a Bravo agent (Devika) to go to Sealy head office where they will test us and then assist with prescribing the correct and suitable mattress for us. Drove all the way to Johannesburg. When we got there we were assisted by Benjamin but he informed us that we could not go for testing. We just had to test the mattresses again by laying in them. No guidance were provided and we were not 100% sure which is actually correct for our weights and postures. We chose our mattress based on feel and paid in as it was a much more "expensive" range. Got the mattress and it already seemed to look better. It is now 3 months AGAIN and both of us having backaches once again. Reported it to Benjamin once again. We have paid way over R12k by now. I feel I have spent so much money and it is not worth it. I have addressed this issue so many times and nothing is being done. I have requested a refund which was also turned away and was advised that he will get back to me. He also did not do this. I lost over R12k and they just don't give a damn. It is very unpleasant getting up each day with a back pain and have to drink pain****ers to get it to pass. This is not what I imagine a bed should make you feel like. I have 3 kids and battle to sleep properly. I will never trust this brand and will also ensure all the people I know will be informed about my terrible experience.
I went to Toys R Us, Mall@Reds on 14 July to get my son's birthday gifts. I selected my items and took a Spiderman which was marked down from R299.90 to R249.90. When I got to the pay point the guy immediately told me that the black and red Spiderman is on sale. I advised him that the tag states Titan Hero, Was R299.90, Now R249.90. He called his manager (Assistant Manager - Elizabeth). She advised that they marked it for the black and red Spiderman and not for the blue and red one. I showed her the tag and remaining items on the shelf. There was only 1 black and red one and the rest was blue and red, all stacked behind one another above the label. She refused to give it to me at the price they presented. This was very bad service. I was not fussy about the R50, just her entire attitude. This is however not my first bad experience at this store. I also buy my yearly company Christmas gifts from them. I refuse to do it this year as I spend more than R30,000 and could get the same somewhere else. You lost a very good customer!!
