Bought a pair of shoes online on October 10, 2023 to the value of $75.00. I received the tracking information but could not track the parcel as, according to the Customer service in China, because the shipping agent did not enter the parcel info onto the sgipping agents' system. After more than two months waiting I received notification that the parcel is at my local Post Office. The parcel did not contain shoes but a pair of sunglasses worth $5.00. I notified the Customer Service of this problem. They apologised and at the same time informed me that they are out of stock and cannot supply the shoes I ordered. They also offered to refund me 40% of the purchase cost of the shoes if I opt to keep the sunglasses......... totally unacceptable. The cost to return the sunglasses using DHL courier services amounts to R830.00. The courier cost is exorbitant ....... daylight *******! The supplier in China is acting as if it is not their fault that they did not send me the product I ordered and are also unwilling to refund me the full price of the product. I am willing to keep the sunglasses and to let the cost of the sunglasses ($5.00) be deducted off the amount, namely $75.00, to be refunded Bottom line....DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM CLARKS SHOES SOUTH AFRICA ONLINE.

If you find a Clarks Shoes website advertising prices that are too good to be true, ( R250-R350 for boots that normally retail at R1500 or more), do NOT order anything. You will be charged an additional R60 for transport, then given a tracking number. Logging on to the tracking number will enable you to monitor the progress of a courier named Lingjing, in China, to SA. It will eventually show "Delivered" but you will not receive them. All my efforts to contact them met with a "brick wall" of excuses and useless suggestions. They could not produce a Proof Of Delivery or refer me to the SA courier. This morning I received an sms to log onto a website to "Complete my delivery due to a missing street address" It was a very realistic SA Post Office website. There was a small cost of R4.27 required for the re-delivery, payable by credit card. After I processed the payment, with all my card details, Google intervened with a "hackers warning" about an expired security certificate. (Cudos to Google!) I immediately called the FNB ***** line and cancelled my card. The FNB consultant was on the ball and told me that armed with the card details he was surprised that they had not already drained my account. (The R4.27 was not debited to me).
