Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed Hi Peter, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out regarding an issue we’ve been facing. Back in February, we worked at their office, providing carpet and flooring services. Despite our hard work, we haven’t received any payment, and it's quite disheartening to see the office running smoothly while we’re still left in the dark. We've been in touch with John, the maintenance guy, but unfortunately, he’s been unhelpful. He’s claiming they don’t want to pay us, and when we ask for contact information to resolve this, he refuses to provide it. To make matters worse, we've now been barred from entering the premises altogether. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and we really need your help to get this sorted out. Thank you for your support!

Abbott has been incredible in supporting me with my journey to better control my glucose levels with their FreeStyle Libre 2. I've had two incidents, one where the sensor fell off, and one where the sensor didn't work (presumably it didn't insert correctly) and both times Abbott has replaced the sensors with expedited shipping, at no cost to me. One of these incidents occurred during the Easter holidays and I still got the replacement sensor within 4 business days, well before my second sensor was done. Amazing service, and incredibly helpful support staff. There are many CGM devices on the market, but I think I'll stick to the Libre 2 if only for the fantastic support I've received from the team at Abbott. Keep it up!

I have been using similac formula milk for my baby in the last two years now. With my other babies I have used other products that I don’t think I should be mentioning here for obvious reasons. Similac is an excellent product and it does some wonders. My baby never gets sick but what I find strange was the fact that I never gave my son food for one full year as he was on similac. He didn’t have issues or loose weights or develop any skin condition like his brothers or restroom issues. Finally when I introduced him to solid food he was okay and never sick like most people had suggested because I delayed solid food. Recently I introduced my son to long life milk that we use at home but he still prefer his similac and refuse this refrigerated milk we use as a family. So today I wanna say I am a living proof that all formula milk for babies are not the same like some scientists suggest or that mothers milk is the only best thing. Science has opened our eyes to so many exciting things and if used responsibly then we will see the world become a better place. Me and my family promised to spread the gospel about similac milk. It might be pricey for some people but it’s worth everything that a baby needs

I use a Freestyle Libre sensor supplied by Abbott. When the sensor works, it's absolutely great. Unfortunately, when it doesn't it seems to be impossible to get any assistance at all. The sensor comes to me via CDE Pharmacy. I have sent two mails to Abbott and one to CDE Pharmacy today and have had no response. It's not as if this isn't urgent as I now have to resort to finger *****s while the device I've paid for is unusable.

My 33 month old daughter got ill and lost appetite along with weight and then I saw good reviews on pediasure so I went on to ask on their social media pages if they have any discount coupon since I wanted to try their product but its was expensive, in deed They gave me R50 coupon and I bought the pediasure and in the 1st week I saw the difference in my daughter's appetite and health improved.

So disappointed in how Abbot has responded to us and to the media. They say that there were no illness cases reported of the bad batch of the Similac Alimentum formula in South-Africa after I phoned several times to report that my one month old son was hospitalized due to this formula. So, stop spreading the lies to the media because I am going to send all my evidence to the media. This is such a disappointment because my son was actually poisoned by this formula and Abbot is not owning up to it. On Saturday 19th of February, we opened a new tin (was part of the bad batch) of the Similac Alimentum and my son was admitted to the Arwyp medical hospital on Monday 21st of February due to diarrhea and dehydration. We still gave him the Similac Alimentum until we heard the news on Wednesday the 23rd of February. Up until then there was still no improvement with my son's stomach in hospital. Only after the doctor have called us to tell us we need to change his formula, he showed improvement. My son weighed 4.4kg on Monday the 14th of February and on Wednesday the 23rd of February he weighed 3.83kg just to give you some perspective of what you have done to my son. They also came and fetch the formula stating they will reimburse us for the formula and we are still waiting for the reimbur*****t. So I am currently waiting for an urgent response from Abbott regarding this.

My baby has been drinking the similac advance formula. Yesterday when I made his milk I noticed the formula different colour and texture and had a foul smell. When I mixed it with the water it separated from the water and was stinking even more. The formula had been spolit. This is so dangerous for infants if they going to be sending out spolit formula to stores. This is utterly ridiculous and completely unacceptable.

One is so excited when medical companies expand the range of medical devices. So it was with Abbott - the new diabetes monitoring patch system. Then - only through Pharmacy Direct and the reason in the words of their marketing manager when I called - to ensure he pricing is right. Is the perhaps anti- competing behaviour? Then one has Pharmacy Direct incompetence to deal with. Refer to the reviews on Pharmacy Direct and you will see the one star ratings for 9/10 customers. This is, in my opinion, abominable. Come on Abbott - use the usual good pharmacy system and take a chance on competitive pricing! Oh yes - I am still waiting for a return call from the Marketing Manager at Abbott as well as the email I was promised to explain that they are not anti-competitive in their resolution to only use certain distribution channels to “ensure correct pricing” and therefore will not be using Dischem or Clicks or other pharmacies.
