Bad service
Paid Over R5500 for my gas oven to be repaired one of the igniters was still not working after the repair. They lost a ***** for the oven door handle. on the 1st cook in the oven the handle fell off a d and hour later the glass slipped out and smashed all over the floor. When asking the company about this they said glass was not available. Phone another repair company to get a quote to fix and they fixed the igniter and replaced the glass. Able repairs did not take calls after I wanted to claim from them.

Bad service

Poor quality repairs
Shawn the owner insists on money upfront and the never properly repairs - An Absolute conman !!

ABLE APPLICANCE REPAIRS (PTY) LTD MOUNT EDGECOMBE - SHAWN
Hi all, I would like to know if anyone has used the company Able Appliance Repairs (Pty) Ltd - Shawn. They appear in the Highway mail and given there name - listed as the one of the first. We encountered Shawn on Easter Monday where a friend called him in to repair her Bosch Fridge that was not working. He came - quoted a substantial amount - said we had to pay upfront in full, as because of Covid companies were not releasing stock without full payment. Gave us a salesman pitch of note, also quoted to service a Miele washing machine. Came back on Tuesday and did the work... money upfront. Within a month their was a problem with the washing machine and now the Fridge is worst than it was before intitial repair. Makes excuses to come back - given that on the day of quoting makes a big show of how he offers 12 months guarantee on work done. He now has totally blocked my friend off his cell phone .... sending emails to the address on the invoice - which was supposed to be his brother's business does not help either. Hence I am sharing this to find out if anyone else has encountered this company and Shawn with this shocking level of service or lack thereof !

ABSOLUTE CONMAN - ABLE APPLIANCE REPAIRS
In January we engage this company and dealt with a guy called Shawn. We paid for the repairs of our washing machine that was not draining water. The guys then took it with and said they will repair the machine. It came back worse than it was before. It is filling up water without stopping. It is leaking at the bottom and spills water as well on top. We have been asking him to come see the machine ever since he returned it at the start of February. He always promises to come next week if not by end of the week. Sometimes, he would say he will come when he has jobs near our area in Westville. These people are conman! When following up with him he reacts very emotional too. BEWARE AND BE CAREFUL! They will take your money and even pinch some parts! Why is the machine coming back with problems it never had?
