ABLE APPLICANCE REPAIRS (PTY) LTD MOUNT EDGECOMBE - SHAWN

Hi all, I would like to know if anyone has used the company Able Appliance Repairs (Pty) Ltd - Shawn. They appear in the Highway mail and given there name - listed as the one of the first. We encountered Shawn on Easter Monday where a friend called him in to repair her Bosch Fridge that was not working. He came - quoted a substantial amount - said we had to pay upfront in full, as because of Covid companies were not releasing stock without full payment. Gave us a salesman pitch of note, also quoted to service a Miele washing machine. Came back on Tuesday and did the work... money upfront. Within a month their was a problem with the washing machine and now the Fridge is worst than it was before intitial repair. Makes excuses to come back - given that on the day of quoting makes a big show of how he offers 12 months guarantee on work done. He now has totally blocked my friend off his cell phone .... sending emails to the address on the invoice - which was supposed to be his brother's business does not help either. Hence I am sharing this to find out if anyone else has encountered this company and Shawn with this shocking level of service or lack thereof !
