I bought a 2004 Kia Rio RS from them this morning for R40000 came down from R43000. And was advised to take the car for roadworthy myself. I then took the car to Dekra Pretoria North were the car was tested for roadworthy, The car failed horribly with the following errors - Service Brake Pedal - Braking System - General and specified Items - Service Brake - Suspension Unit - Shock Absorbers - Wheel Bearings - Control Arms - Stabilizers and anti roll bars - Engine ( Carburate Cable )
I then phoned Adam who sold me the car and told him about all the faults on the car and he advice me to talk to his manager, I than took the car back to Action Car Traders ( ACT). Were the manager phoned the owner who is Eugene who was arrogant and said to me that I bought the car VOETSTOOTS and he gave me discount to fix minor problems on the car, but I don't see this as minor problem. It was also difficult to get my money back. but finally I got my money back. I will not recommend anyone to do business with Eugen nor Action Car Traders as they are dishonest. I would like to know what should have happened if any of my family was involved in accident with this car. Eugene still owe me R600 for the roadworthy , I am also taking this up with the ombudsman
