I have had the unmitigated misfortune of using a company called ADTransport, based in Cape Town. The guys they subcontracted to managed to take an antique bookshelf and shove it through the ceiling of my home, damaging it in the process. They even managed to damage a different bookshelf, by tearing a gash straight through its rear. They dismantled a desk in JHB, and then refused to assemble it when they arrived in CPT. They even had the cheek to grumble about how heavy my boxes were, thinking I would not understand. With all of this you would think a company would in some small way wish to at least apologise for the experience they blatantly ignored while avoiding the storm that happend in CPT about a month ago, offering absolutely no assistance while any of this was going on. In the time it has taken me to travel between 6 cities and 3 countries on two continents and back again, I have yet to receive even that, and have been told that none of it is their issue, as they sub-contracted... and the terms of my contract blah, blah, blah!! Whatever you do, avoid using this useless company in anyway, as they seriously do not give a f*&!. I like to think of this as a community service announcement!!

We had the misfortune of dealing with AD Transport to arrange our move from Joburg to Cape Town. At first their communication was good but then things changed dramatically. We had to phone them literally a dozen times to confirm the collection date because they were almost completely shut down during the month of December. We were informed our goods would arrive on January 10th but only did so on Jan 24th. They even went as far as denying confirmation of the initial delivery date.

When I goods did arrive they were in shambles. Seven of our expensive wine glasses were completely smashed into powder. We relocated from New Zealand to Johannesburg and only had one glass break during that move. AD transport managed to break 7. Our fridge had a massive dent, our boxes were flattened, our pots were scratched.

They even stuck hideous orange stickers on virtually all our items. The glue on these stickers have destroyed some of our items.

I have called Deon Nel about this. He asked me to send him an email which I did but haven't received a response. I've even sms'd him but no response. All in all I would never deal with AD transport again. I would be keen to resolve the issue however
