********* SUPPLIER!

A warning to all when dealing with AE WHOLESALE LIGHTING & ELECTRIC based in Octave Rd, Radiokop. They operate very *********ly, and I would highly recommend finding an ALTERNATIVE supplier for your electrical items. We purchased 2 x 200ah Gel batteries from them on the Friday, connected it and fully charged it. The next evening, we had loadshedding which was the first time it was used and the batteries only lasted for 30 minutes (and all it was running was a TV, Dstv and wifi router! On 2 x 200ha batteries!). We then returned it on the Monday explaining the issue; they then tested the batteries and said the one was faulty and gave us 2 batteries again. Once again, the very next load shedding, the batteries only last 20-30 minutes. We took the batteries back again, whereafter they tested the batteries again and confirmed that they are faulty, but AE Wholesale refuses to take any responsibility! They refuse to replace them or refund us, because they say the batteries are used and there is NO guarantee or warrantee on batteries. I completely understand that batteries have no guarantees, but surely this can only apply if the product that was supp**** in was in good working order! We also think that they supp**** us with an inferior product to what they promised: They advertised AllGrand batteries and said that it is what they gave us, and told us they are very good batteries, but neither the battery, nor the box it came in had any branding on it. Their attitude of complete disinterest and unwillingness to rectify the matter is disgusting!
