Oh what a horrible experience we had at Africa Paradise. Went there for my mother’s 60th birthday celebration. I had booked a room for my parents as well. The room was small and cupboards were broken, the toilet was tiny and had started to mould around the silicone by the basin. Moving to the birthday celebration, Africa Paradise literally had 4 parties going on at once in the same area and each had their own speaker blasting music. Mind you, my parents and other older people were attending my function, but when they arrived, there were half naked people from another party, in their bikinis dancing and swimming by the pool. My guests felt so appalled by the sight because they believed that they were going to have a private, sophisticated event. Africa Paradise was so *********** and had us sitting in the dark, when I went to ask for lights or candles the workers took their precious time setting up and I was given endless excuses as to why I waited so long for light by the management crew. Did they not know that guests need lights when they are sitting outside in the evening? Food was mixed up and we had an incident where some of our guests did not receive food and decided to leave. I was extremely upset and took it upon myself to take on Janette and her crew. As per usual, Janette was very defensive and made excuses for everything that went wrong. Then another guy from management had the nerve to ask me to come talk to him outside the building away from all the people, when I was addressing issues in the reception area. Thank goodness my male cousin was there and told him that I won’t go anywhere with him. The management guy angrily walked away. I am not even surprised reading through the other reviews and seeing Africa Paradise respond in a disgusting way. They really know nothing about business etiquette, and do not know how to handle patrons. That place is seriously falling apart. When my parents were going to have breakfast today, they found one of the female workers with her bags causing a scene in the reception area - she was so fed up with the management at Africa Paradise that she was resigning publicly while patrons were around. That tells you a whole lot about how that place is run.
Rather find somewhere else to go, spare yourself and avoid Africa Paradise at all costs! The bad reviews on this page are really genuine!
