I purchased a Durban voucher in December and reached out in March to make a booking. I was told the aircraft had an accident and that flights were temporarily suspended (which I completely understood).
However, from that point forward, my emails went unanswered for days, and when I clearly stated “I’m in Durban”, I was ignored. Eventually (after still getting no response), I felt forced to make arrangements to travel to Johannesburg, only for them to later claim it was my choice, which is completely false.
I contacted them multiple times requesting a phone number (also ignored), and not once did they show any empathy, accountability, or offer even a small gesture of goodwill for all the confusion and inconvenience.
After sending a detailed and polite email to clarify everything (with evidence and screenshots), I still received no response.
Based on my experience and reading many other similar complaints, it’s clear this company has a pattern of poor communication, misleading vouchers and no accountability once they receive payment.
Avoid them at all costs cause you might end up paying for an “experience” that never happens.
