I am beyond disappointed with this company. If it's possible to give minus stars I would! We took out a couple of funeral policies with them for family and friends, and since then, we have received ZERO communication. I’ve sent multiple emails and tried calling countless times, but no one answers. It’s as if they have completely disappeared. This is supposed to be a service that provides peace of mind during a difficult time, but instead, it’s been nothing but stress and frustration.
I expected at least some level of customer service, especially when dealing with something as important as funeral coverage. The lack of response is unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers when everything is supposed to be fine, you can’t imagine the nightmare trying to make a claim - I have been battling now for two months to get payment, ANY COMMUNICATION, and/or anyone competant in providing feedback. Get used to the phrase "we will follow up, or we will get feedback" as this is all the can say WHEN you get hold of someone. I deeply REGRET choosing this company and warn others to avoid them at all costs.
This is not just bad service—it’s a complete failure on their part. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere - preferably Sanlam!
