My grandmother earns her Sassa pension through Capitec, but the money is debited from Sassa before it reaches her capitec account. Sassa officials refused to give any statements or information about how this happened. An amount of R234 is deducted and Sassa refuses to block this unauthorized transaction.

Sent all my documents to bury my father and they are yet to pay out what is owed to our family. Carry Ann Ampo, yes Ill call her out and don't care who she is to anybody....You ask for docs, but don't reply. You and African Unity know exactly what you doing by not replying amd going back and forth with DCO financial......**** you!

I had claims that are not paid, African Unity advised Crisis Shield not to settle these claims, it been more than enough now. Everytime when I call Crisis Shield to get updates on the claim they say African Unity has told them not to pay, for what, I don't know. I'm very upset and disappointed. My number is 0633628100. I got employed with this company for 3 weeks then got fired for not mentioning that I was once trained with Ubuntu life... The company is so ****** well the owner of African unity and Ubuntu life are friends. And I once took Ubuntu life to the ccma for them being ****** and bayast and very abusive... Calling us Kafers and ******s and all... So the Ubuntu life owner told the company that I was now working for to fire me as I once took them to ccma and actually won the case against the company.. I did not put Ubuntu life on my cv because I did not even work there I trained for 2 weeks with Ubuntu life so no experience gained from there and how can thy make reference check with the company that hardly knows me for only 2 weeks😏and just like that I was told to pack my stuff and was suspended without pay just like that today I'm back at home dismissed from African unity...top management is very ****** and rude at African unity... And thy make u work like a dog even whn u r at home and refuse to pay for overtime. What hurts most is that when I won the ccma case against Ubuntu life they told me that I will never work In the insurance world ever again and I guess they were right😒just for exposing them my life got ruined.

DCCP109935 - CLM00214017 I have paid for a credit life policy which promises in the event of Advanced Cancer that I would be covered. I processed a claim for critical illness last year - where 3 installments were covered. My policy was then moved to another insurance company - they are aware of my sickness. The new policy states that critical illness / advanced cancer gets full payout on debt. However now my claim is not paid as I am still employed. No where on the policy does it state I have to be unemployed to claim in event of advanced illness or disability. My medical bills are piling up - so why are you advertising for cover, when you actually do not cover. I would stay clear of this Company. They will take a monthly premium but not pay out when you need them to,

I am beyond disappointed with this company. If it's possible to give minus stars I would! We took out a couple of funeral policies with them for family and friends, and since then, we have received ZERO communication. I’ve sent multiple emails and tried calling countless times, but no one answers. It’s as if they have completely disappeared. This is supposed to be a service that provides peace of mind during a difficult time, but instead, it’s been nothing but stress and frustration. I expected at least some level of customer service, especially when dealing with something as important as funeral coverage. The lack of response is unacceptable. If this is how they treat customers when everything is supposed to be fine, you can’t imagine the nightmare trying to make a claim - I have been battling now for two months to get payment, ANY COMMUNICATION, and/or anyone competant in providing feedback. Get used to the phrase "we will follow up, or we will get feedback" as this is all the can say WHEN you get hold of someone. I deeply REGRET choosing this company and warn others to avoid them at all costs. This is not just bad service—it’s a complete failure on their part. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere - preferably Sanlam!
