AH Auto Services gave me the worst service ever and won't recommend their business to anyone. We have been told that they would need to replace the timing chain, power steering pump, auxi****y belt, do a major service on the car and that they would conclude with a diagnostic test to confirm that there were no issues where we had to pay +/- R20 000. We have been told that our vehicle has been repaired and serviced, but have not received the diagnostic test to date and noticed that the vehicle has bad oil leaks which never happened before the service. After informing the owner of AH Auto Services and sent the images to confirm that it was engine oil, he said that they would need to inspect to confirm where it is coming from, but that this will serve as a new job and that we will have to pay extra for the inspection which I disputed due to the vehicle only doing this after they did their work on it. The owner then says if the cause for the leak was found in an area where they have not worked then we would have to pay them extra which I then agreed to. They confirmed to come out out on multiple occasions (30 November, 05 and 10 December) with no avail and never communicated that they couldn't make it making us wait for them. After numerous messages we finally got hold of AH AUTO SERVICES and they came to inspect our vehicle's oil leak on the 08 January, 3 months after we requested them to inspect the oil leak that they caused, where they stated that they identified that the cause of the leak would be an even bigger job then the prior job and stated that we would need to replace our steering rack because it was leaking. After doing an assessment at 3 different mechanics, they all confirm that it was not the steering rack and that the leak is coming from the tappet/ valve cover which AH Auto Services had to removed to replace the timing chain. The oil leak was caused because AH Auto Services did not replace the valve cover gasket and seals and therefore our vehicle is leaking engine oil. I have stated this to AH Auto Services and they have not messaged me back to date.

Took my car in before Easter, blew the top gasket, this guy didnt do any work for two weeks and when I went to enquire his mechanic hastily cobbled everything together, car was still not fixed, went back he had the car again for a week almost, drove and blew the top again, and already paid him, for unsatisfactory work, took the car again the new mechanic gave me five new problems on the car. Car is standing I will not go back his guarantee means nothing. So people if you feel the need to be parted with you're cash and have a more broken car give this guy a try he will disappoint. Know I have to get a tow truck to go to the next mechanic, I think I will draw up a contract for the next one. This RMI association is also a joke, mechanics are just out to fleece you. They deserve zero stars.

Allan Hanekom from AH AUTO SERVICES signed up for advertising with us. After all of the work was done and changes had been made he decided that he doesn't want to pay his account. After numerous requests he still has not made even a 10% deposit to cover his expenses. I would rate a -5 if t was possible. I do not recommend doing business with them. All proof can be made available on reqeuest.
