My partner and I recently utilised the service of Air-O-Parking/ Air-O-Car at O.R. Tambo International Airport. When we dropped off the vehicle it was in perfect condition without any faults or damage, however when we picked up the vehicle it had become evident whilst driving that something was wrong with the vehicle as there was a rumbling sensation coming from it. Upon further investigation by going into the vehicles settings we had found a drive train malfunction notification which was hidden and cleared out of the visible control panel display. The notification will pop up automatically when the vehicle is started, however we initially did not notice this because when we picked up the vehicle the vehicle was already started and in park whilst on idle. Soon after leaving the airport and having discovered the issue with the vehicle whilst on the road, we messaged Air-O-Parking/ Air-O-Car to tell them off the issue. We were then advised that they would have their manager contact me. A day following this, I had gotten ahold of the manager/owner myself whereafter no attempt was made to contact me first. I had explained the issue with him, however my feedback on the matter was met with much hostility. The company owner denied any accountability for the issue given that he did not 'personally' drive the vehicle. Whilst this may be true, the vehicle was driven by his employees and during which time something had gone wrong with the vehicle. Further to this the owner was extremely rude and unprofessional and even went as far as to try turn around the situation to accuse us of trying to de***** him by stating that the vehicle had the issue before It was dropped off with his guys. He further attempted to back up his argument by referencing the fact that when I had dropped off the vehicle I enquired if their parking facility which is external to the Airport is insured. As a vehicle owner allowing a third party service provider to drive and store my vehicle, it is my right to enquire if they have liability cover to be conducting their business operations and this enquiry should not be used against me should something in fact go wrong with the vehicle whilst it is in the care of the third party service provider. The customer service received from the owner was extremely disgusting to say the least. I see that I am not the only one to have had a bad experience with this company and many others have never received any resolution in their issues. My only regret is that I did not research these reviews before having utilised the service. Further to this having inspected my vehicle tracker, I found that the vehicle was being driven around in circles around the airport and made multiple stops before being driven to the secure parking external to the airport. From the tracker information, it was clearly evident that the driver had been driving around and stopped the vehicle on the road a few times. This alone is suspicious behaviour which when questioned the owner Henco about, his response was the following "This particular staff member, is like family of me. He has been with us for 10 years and would never cause intentional damage to anybody. Kindly refrain from saying anything bad to my staff." It seems that this company is run by friends and family who will not hold their employees accountable or even simply question the actions of their employees when it is clear that something was done wrong. Would highly not recommend this company to anyone. Please use with high caution and please check out their Google Reviews for similar situations experienced by others.

I’ve used them a few times for business trips. I honestly can not complain about their punctuality and work ethics…but the last time I used them I was disappointed. Till then I remove all valuables from the car including small change I keep in the car. Unfortunately the last time to the airport I was late and thus didn’t remember to remove valuables. On collection of the car all my small change was cleaned out.

Please do not use this airport valet parking service company. They firstly do not disclose that the are 13 kms away from the airport. They then scratched my car, admitted to scratching it and refused to pay for damages. They also cracked the windscreen and refused to pay for the replacement even after admitting to doing so. The worst company to use, unethical and the "manager" is very rude and refuses to take accountability for damages caused. Please also read their terms and conditions, they are saying they are not liable for any damage of the car, even after making you go through checks for scratches and damages prior to leaving the car with them. The worst airport parking company ever!!! But I am reporting to governing bodies, ACSA and relevant authorities!!!

Do not use them. The staff steal. My centre console was completely upside down and all them money I keep for tipping was gone, only the 20c's left. When I called the owner Henco - his response was "Oh no thats not good" When asking what he is going to do, I was told I need to prove it. This is the second incedent with them. I thought I would give them a second chance but after this there is clearly a problem and the owner does not care. Do not use them!!

I used the services of this company in December 2019, and mistakenly paid the company twice - I had set up an automated payment before travelling, which I forgot about, and then made a second payment on my return. I immediately phoned the owner, Henco, to inform him of this (and sent him details of the payments), and he assured me that the duplicate payment would be refunded. This has not happened, and after many calls and e-mails (over the course of 3 months now), my money has still not been refunded. Before this, Henco always answered the phone (there is no land line, just 3 mobile phone numbers which he answers) and very time I try to phone now, he cancels the call. He has also not responded to my e-mails. I will never deal with this dishonest company again, and I'm writing this post to caution anyone who plans on using the services of this company.

Once Again thumbs up to Air O Car, had a great experience with them yet again. Thanks to Dayna, Stacy and the rest of the team. They were on time to pick up my vehicle as well as upon my return. Its great to deal with such friendly and efficient people, something that we don't get very easily these days. Well done guys, looking forward to working with you again in the near future. DO NOT use their services. My car came back with a crack on the front bumper, I have sent several emails with no response. I have called as well and they constantly making excuses of "investigating the matter". They refused to give me the managers details and have been very rude. I will definitely be taking the legal rout. If you want your car to be safe and scratch free, do yourself a favor and stay away from these people. I will also be taking this incident to the media.

I've used then several times through Hyperli vouchers purchased. No issues in dropping or collecting my vehicle, and it's always great to receive a nicely washed car once you land back at ORT.
