Not fresh bread

I bought Albany bread this past Sunday the 16th at shoprite Inanda, the bread was advertised to R16.99 when I am checking the slip when I got home I was charged R18.99 and Monday morning I am doing lunch for my daughter the bread is hard on the sides even the bread itself is not fresh yet the date on it is 20th.I couldn't return since my daughter was going to school needed lunch.. I had to cut the sides the way it was hard... I have attached proof, this is really ridiculous, I am very disappointed with both Albany and shoprite.
