Unprofessional Movers

When they arrived they drove backwards into property and bumped into an outside light. Then the truck can’t drive properly as brakes need pressure and they could not reverse properly. This resulted in jamming the entrance gate. Why they reversed into property I don’t know as there was sufficient space inside to turn truck around. I was advised this morning damage was caused when disconnecting the washing machine and dishwasher. I gave them a double door fridge that they moved and broke one of its legs off. They also loaded my couch upright that I told them was too high. This resulted in couch catching on trees as both properties and breaking couch base. This is an expensive Coricraft couch worth over R16k. They did not carry the plastic containers properly that cause items to fall out and break. I specifically bought plastic containers with handles to make moving easy. They handled all items very rough and not with the required care. There is damage to furniture edges and tv stand drawer broke off. At new property damage to wooden railing from not carrying items well. They also did not listen to instructions of where to put items and all crates was literally thrown onto couch. 2 of your guys…the driver and truck packer were very sweet and helpful. The others were slow, disinterested and not respectful of items. They damaged pipes when pushing dishwasher into space resulting in water leakage and repairs I am liable for. I think training is required on how to handle and carry items as well as driving and reversing with the trucks. The previous move from Fourways resulted in same that I did report and clearly this was not addressed. Considering the costs of removal I could have used another company but trusted that because of previous feedback this time would improve. I won’t recommend you in future as this has now happened twice and the damages and negligence does not warrant referral.
