Gross neglegence

Yesterday we went to the pharmacy to by medication that was prescribed by the Doctor. The Pharmacist by the name Toeli Lebese assisted us. She gave us a single dose medication because she didn't have the second dose. She ordered it because it was important that we get the complete dose. She told us that we need to come back for it because it important that we get the second dose within 24 hours. When we come back she gave our medication the wrong patient. Our concern is that the second dose was suppose to be taken within 24 hours. How can someone who is qualifies dispense the medication to the wrong patient? This is just pure neglegent for someone of her profession, this could have cost someone's life.
