This was not my first time visiting the spa, I had done so when they were at the bottom of the hotel. This time around they are at the top because they are currently renovating.
Firstly, you are greeted by a rail with handbags on sale and because of this the doors are wide open making the place so cold. When you step inside, a pungent smell of incense greets you, followed by statues of Buddha everywhere, on doors, display cabinets, I mean everywhere!!!
We were taken to the treatment room where incense was burning which I extinguished. I've been to spas in Indonesia and Dubai but I have never experienced this!!! You are expected to put an old bed sheet (not bath sheet) while you lay on the bed waiting for 15 minutes for the the****** (the place only has 2)! The treatments were not bad and the room was warm but the table where you put your face in had this cloth thing that I constantly had to remove so I can breathe. You don't know what products they use as all products are in 10ml tubs!!! Would I go again? Not likely!
