Traveled 300kms for a family Spa day turn disaster! I found the Spa on Daddy's deals, called to enquire availablity for the French Vanilla package and the lady confirmed the package with a facial, full body massage, Indian head massage, foot massage and a back stub ending with hot stone. She asked me to not use Daddy's deals site to book but to eft 50% and pay the rest at the spa so I did. Got to the spa and they only did a full body massage, the the******s where confused when I asked which treatment is next, they where told to only do full body, so they asked me to called the spa number again while at the spa as the management does not come to the spa in the day, the lady I spoke to was apparently unavailable and the "Manager" an Indian guy, without listening to which package I had paid for he started screaming, ranting and raving about payment which I had done full payment prior to the call, he was rude and did not even listen or ask what was the actual issue, I did full payment for the package advertised and he ****** me and was making excuses talking about payment which had nothing to do with the conversation, he asked for my banking details to refund part of my treatments that was not done and he did not refund me instead he called me trying to justify that because I did not book via Daddy's deals there is nothing I can do about being ******, I paid for a package and received only one part of it, daylight *******!! Will never recommend or go back, no refund was done for the missing services, terrible management!

AMBROSIA WELLNESS SPA and daddy deals
Hello there Hope you are having a great time. Please refund my money. The wellness spa not only gave me more stress, they could not accommodate my booking they made for me today at Westville for 16h15. Their manager called today 12h22, and quickly advised me that I can get a refund through daddy's deals, I wasn't looking for a refund Customer Service is a challenge in Durban, this spa proved that once again. Weldone Team Ambrosia Wellness Spa
It been more than 5 time I have been visit this wellness spa with different friends, the hospitality and the service I received is always up to standard and excellent. All of my friends always ask me when are we going back there. I appreciate the service and the quality of treating client with respect and dignity. I hope you don't do this to us only but to all of your clients. Thank you continue with the good work

Weldone Team Ambrosia Wellness Spa
It been more than 5 time I have been visit this wellness spa with different friends, the hospitality and the service I received is always up to standard and excellent. All of my friends always ask me when are we going back there. I appreciate the service and the quality of treating client with respect and dignity. Thank you Ambrosia Wellness Spa for being so accommodating on special occasions, It was my Anniversary and a late decision was taken to have a spa treatment as one of our spoils unfortunately Ambrosia was fully booked for the day but when explained it was our anniversary Bhuvan Singh (manager) was able to accommodate our late request which gave us a great start to our anniversary.We had the most exquisite massage and left feeling very revitalised, Friendly staff and all safety protocols was adhered too.. I loved it!! Ambrosia Wellness Spa is highly recommended for all those in need of some pampering.

Top Rate Spa - Serene, Outstanding and Professional
Very professional, high-standards maintained Spa. Went for the couples package. From the booking process till and after the treatment, all went smooth and excellent. The spa resonantes serenity coupled with expertise of the the the******s, reception and bookings administration. I definitely will recommend it to friends and family esp for a great escape from the stress of daily life. Also you get more than what you pay for.

Top Rate Spa - Serene, Outstanding and Professional

WORST EVER
The staff are not friendly at all, they do not introduce themselves, Staff did not even know what we booked for and how much to charge me for the additional treatment, they do not ask you if you would like soft, medium, or hard pressure when they are performing the treatment. We bought the vouchers from Daddy's Deals and it was R 300 per couple, and I paid the additional 140 per couple for the hot stone as well (bear in mind there was 6 people). All the treatments where way below average. We were not notified as to what treatment they will be doing; it is not a spa I would go to again. The Head Massage was the worst, my hair was pulled and at the end we where hit and slapped on our bodies. I am certain that is not the way to wake up your muscles after a massage. At one point we all thought that the staff had left the room and the treatment was completed as they just applied the face mask and stood aside in the room for 10 minutes. My body was tense and more sore than relaxed. The only reason I rated 2 stars is because I have been to this spa before and they where on top of their game, unfortunately not anymore it was the worst experience for a lady’s day out which I planned for my mother in laws birthday. A complete waste of time and money. (Total cost – R 1,320.00) Would never recommend to family and friends.
