have gone through 3 months of checking and countless calls and emails to get American express to work. It has been a blame game since May 2022
I have not been able to accept a single American Express Card upon signing up for this. It takes days if not weeks to get a reply.
I have never experienced such unhelpful service from a bank to this degree. I can not continue to waste my time on this.
The point of this was to enable more customer purchases - but it is quite clear that the goal will not be achieved. It is clear that no one knows what they are doing.
This has been a wait of my time.
I advise anyone thinking of joining to not waste their time or efforts with American express South Africa.
