I have been trying to cancel my Amex Platinum card for weeks now and can't. You can't cancel it in the branch, it has to be done via mobile. 3 weeks ago, after speaking to a consultant, who assured me that once I'd payed outstanding balance of R105.50, it would be done. I immediately did an EFT. Just this morning I went onto the app and low and behold, I now owe R104.00 and the card is still active. I have spoken to another consultant this morning or assures me he will sort it out and give me a call back. This was 2 hours ago, so I am waiting with baited breath for that elusive call back. NEDBANK, your service would be pathetic, if you had some. 😡😡😡😡😡
