I placed an order with Apple Cafe on 25 October for an Apple Watch. During checkout, I mistakenly selected two items instead of one, and I immediately contacted their customer service to rectify the error. They confirmed they would refund the extra watch. However, as of today, 2 weeks later, I have still not received the promised refund.
On 30 October, I received an email stating a partial refund had been processed. However, I have not seen any refund in my payment portal, nor have I been provided any tracking or confirmation of this refund. The payment has already been processed, and I am now left liable for the full amount.
To make matters worse, the one Apple Watch I did receive is faulty. Although it powers on, it continuously freezes during updates and cannot pair with my phone. After taking the watch to an authorized iStore for diagnosis, they confirmed both hardware and software issues, and the cost to repair it exceeds the value of the watch itself.
Despite numerous attempts to resolve this, Apple Cafe’s customer service has been unhelpful. I have been redirected to a third party, who cannot assist me because they have not received the refund from Apple Cafe. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of support and the ongoing delays in resolving both the faulty product and the missing refund.
At this point, I feel misled and left with no recourse. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Apple Cafe, as their customer service and follow-through are severely lacking.
