I absolutely love this shop!
They have an amazing range of products for planted aquariums. I have never had any issues with any of the fish that I have bought from them since I started this hobby in early 2020. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable! They truly are experts in what they do!

White fungus
I ordered few fish and plants from Aqua Empire ... they came with a white fungus that started showing on the 3rd they have infected my other fish and by the forth day all 8 tetra had died I still haven't gotten feed back or a response to my email and the infection has spread to my other fish to...

White fungus

Excellent, best fish shop in Johannesburg
100% the best aquarium shop in Johannesburg! They know what they are talking about and they care for their fish and plants. I've been supporting aqua empire for a few years now, and i can attest to the quality of their products, fish, soil, plants and general equipment. We have both a low tech and a high tech setup and the guidance has been so valuable. If you want a shop that gives you the best advice, excellent quality and healthy live stock aqua empire is the place to go!

100% the best aquarium shop in Johannesburg! They know what they are talking about and they care for their fish and plants. I've been supporting aqua empire for a few years now, and i can attest to the quality of their products, fish, soil, plants and general equipment. We have both a low tech and a high tech setup and the guidance has been so valuable. Booking of fish a norm nowadays?
Store service is in need of revamp. Fish left right and centre booked but not able to purchase. Walked out and managers and owners did not care. If you are not a friend of them you don't get a chance to buy
