09 Sept 2023, 19:12As can be seen on Hello Peter, we do not have a reputation for losing water.
It does, however, happen, though rarely, even in the best of circumstances. For this, we have a defined process to refund a client for the loss of water. This incident happened this past week, and this process is currently in motion. The client will be refunded, as per our standard process.
There are no missed calls to us from this customer.
This customer still has an outstanding amount due to Aquastor, unrelated to the lost water.
One third of his water was not lost. The customer has a 50,000 liter swimming pool. One third of this is 16,000 liter. The bladder that lost water (it was in good condition when we left it there), had less than 10,000 liter water stored in it (the other bladder was full to capacity, just over 40,000 liter). Even if all the water in it was lost (which was not) it could not have exceeded 10,000 liter (far less than the "one third" that is claimed).
By our estimation, a maximum of 4,000 liter was lost.
As stated already, the customer owes us money, and he may be trying to use this to get out of paying the monies owed.
Even after we have credited the lost water to the outstanding amount, there will still be a balance left due, and we will unfortunately likely have to take collection action.
Best regards,
