Advertising offers without stock
ARB advertised an Ingco P20S Spray gun on special at just 3 branches (East Rand, West Rand and Silverlakes). went to East Rand Branch this morning to get one, to be told they do not have stock, and since the manager is not instore for the day they cannot allow me to upfront pay for the stock as an account first needs to be opened. They can get stock in again on Monday, but not at the special price. I would think that you try and assist a customer as best as possible, but seems as if business is probably too good to worry about customers.

We understand how disappointing it is to visit the store specifically for a promotional item, only to find that stock is unavailable and that we were unable to offer an immediate alternative solution.The promotion was limited to specific branches and, unfortunately, stock levels can deplete quickly due to high demand. That said, we acknowledge that the situation around payment and the account process should have been handled with clearer communication and greater flexibility where possible.Your feedback has been shared with the branch management team for review to ensure we improve how promotional stock queries and customer assistance are managed going forward.
