Questionable business practices
Requested Ark Waterproofing to come and quote on addressing a long term rising damp issue. My plumber ruled out any issues with potential leaks on his side, and multiple other service providers concluded the issue was rising damp. After the assessment, they concluded there was damp in the bathroom, laundry and garage, but refused to complete the work without me paying R6700 for them to “rule out a plumbing leak”. A clear attempt to extract money from me for unnecessary work, and calls the integrity of their operations into question. When I raised my concern, the made a scene about me questioning their “honesty”, they said I should rather get a different company to do the work. Not impressed.

Ark Waterproofing / Terrible Service & Workmanship
Absoutely terrible experience with this Arc Waterproofing & Tercia Philander. We paid a 70% deposit in July 2024, it then took 2 months of fighting to get this company to come ad do the work that we had paid for. 4 months later we discovered that they did not even waterproof the roofing sheets that were added, and some of the roofing sheets that were installed were not properly secured and are coming loose.

Poor Business Ethics Raymond Ark Waterproofing
Owner knocks into my vehicle at a construction site in KZN and refuses to take responsibility for shortfall paid by his third party insurance and the cost of me hiring a vehicle as my vehicle could not be driven. Extremely rude and arrogant, constantly declines the calls. Poor reflection of a businessman . I have been inconvenienced by 25k
