Warning: do not let Artificial Intelligence touch anything electrical!

The rating should actually be below zero. AI was positively recommended by two residents in my estate who had a complete solar system installed by AI. Big regrets now. I never experienced such default and non-service. A company not taking any responsibility for what they mess up. What went wrong, besides a huge delay, lots of invalid excuses and broken promises: geysers were spraying water for a weekend after the installation of ceramic elements with the wrong gaskets (mistake of the supplier of course, not of the installation team) with a messed up gypsum ceiling and damaged wall paint as a result, timers of geysers and pool pump blew up due to wrong connection on DB board, incomprehensible connections on a normal DB board due to lack of electrical knowledge, and today the inverter blew up. It has taken from JANUARY 2020 (R 110K paid) to last week to get some appliances hooked up on the system. No significant reduction of usage of City Power, while the whole system was producing electricity and was "connected". Deliveries (by third parties coming to my house) were never announced, people just showed up without any notification. Our domestic had to decide where to store the solar panels, 12 x R 3,000. The same with the installation team: it looked like they were filling time gaps and popping in whenever it was convenient, for them. They would just show up, switch off the mains while we were in Zoom meetings and our children had live online lectures under the lock down. It all seems so unlikely, but it really happened. Nobody would contact me, only respond to missed calls from me. Hendrik Nagel showed a total lack of communication, initiative and accountability for his team's and his own work. I had to push to get updates and get geysers and some other electrical appliances connected to use the produced solar energy while waiting 6 months for the battery. This Freedom Won battery was delayed due to close-down of China, but had been ordered in January according to an email Hendrik wrote me on the day I paid the first tranche of the total costs (in January 2020). Turned out it was not ordered, and AI had the cheekiness to send a new quote which was almost 15,000 higher than the one from January because the Rand weakened to the dollar! The battery was eventually delivered 5 weeks after I paid a still higher price for it, and not within the promised 2 weeks after receipt of payment. I think any reader will understand that AI is not the company to hire for installation of any solar system. And do not let them touch your electrical installation, ever.
