The review of Mr Alan Barton is arrogant and defamatory and completely false, as he stole AHN company's carers just like he did just before he approached Assisted Home Nursing from another care company he had before AHN, Mr Barton approached the company to take over the care of his mother from another company where he said the carer there was not happy and brought the carer into Assisted Home Nursing (thereby *****ing the carer)but told AHN that the carer is doing so under her free will..... AHN later found out the truth when AHN was contacted about this from the first company he was with. The same amount of bad mouthing about the care company before AHN was reported to AHN. He lives in the US and his mother was in a retirement village in KZN and he was informed that Assisted Home Nursing do not hire out carers they manage the care with their contracted (not employed) carers who were subject to restraints, this was initiated a few months before Covid and caregivers were under lockdown with their patients shortly after, the retirement village would not allow anyone in for many months for social visits it was impossible to see her or the caregivers, during this time 150 caregivers needed some kind of protection against Covid as the vaccines was not available and AHN freely offered a natural product called African Wormwood herbal tablets which they could take to protect themselves (not one caregiver contracted Covid during this year) AHN subsidized the choice to purchase the herbal product which was by choice, There were protocols to follow for payments as contractors and these carers did not follow these processes, furthermore these carers were then ****** again by Mr Barton, just like he stole the first caregiver, to work for him directly against his own restrained contract terms, likewise the carers not wanting to be without work in COVID violated their own restraint of trades by taking on the patient directly cutting out AHN, this was not allowed and carers money was frozen until legal assistance was called in to assess the damages caused by both Mr Barton and the caregivers. Breach of Contracts are ********* and Covid played a crucial role in the absence of "visits" when denied entry into an old age retirement home very vulnerable to infection. These caregivers were privately sued for defamation and Mr Barton was ordered to remove his comments on these kind of platforms by legal firms, legal action from south africa to USA was impossible from South Africa at the time and Mr Barton got away with the *****ing of carergivers for the 2nd time in a row. Mr Barton had met with the company ONCE in person and took only what caregivers said to him without learning about the system of AHN or its rules and procedures. A STORY ALWAYS HAVE 3 SIDES - HIS SIDE - THE COMPANY SIDE AND THE TRUTH. As an after thought these same caregivers were forced to pay the penalties in their contracts they signed by court.... but still 2 of them proceeded to approach AHN after the death of Mr Barton's mother to try work under contract within AHN again , but were declined as the company have high ethics , strict rules on care of its patients and conduct of its carers and can not allow ********* , immoral caregivers on its books. Mr Alan Barton has omitted these facts on his review he also omitted that he wanted the caregivers to work directly for him and was declined by AHN , this before this all started. Unfortunately in this field the amount of ********* caregivers in South Africa who will ***** company patients and vice versa with Clients *****ing caregivers are very high and yes it is really disgusting that Mr Barton took advantage of vulnerable caregivers who are scared to have no income during Covid so that he could manipulate them into working for him direct because of Covid and thereby save money. These events can never be eliminated, making the company image suffer in the process when caregivers or clients attempt to cut out the middle man to make or save money. Not once did Mr Barton attempt to get the company side of the stories he mentions above, Mr Barton failed to answer back on any calls, emails send from South Africa to him in the USA, even his own family raised their disappointment to AHN about his conduct and the events at the time. The truth must always be told and the company is ONLY as good as the morals of its workforce, it is still uncertain whether Mr Barton who was NOT in South Africa acted on his own accord or were coaxed into this by caregivers he only dealt with over the phone?

if i could give zero stars it would be better . samantha botha is only interested in money. she does not pay her carers and treats them like ****. she does not visit patients at all. shes the only company in south coast doing this so holds all the power my father died under her care

Assisted Home Nursing KZN is a disgraceful company. They have fancy brochures and website, but do not care about their patients. Money is all the owner, Samantha Botha is interested in. I signed an agreement with Samantha - She was pleasant and all smiles when she first came to visit. She promised the earth.That's where it ended. The carers in her employ were never supervised, paid on time and always had deductions for snakeoil medications she made them buy as a condition of employment. She blatantly lied about visits, access to patients due to covid etc. Her only defence was to accuse everyone else for her failures. I don't believe she is capable of telling the truth. As of mid April, she has still not paid the carers, who she fired, their January salary - a despicable act against helpless working people. If you Love your relative, hire someone else, this company is completely unscrupulous and LIES. This company should be shut down.

Assisted Home Nursing KZN is a disgraceful company. They have fancy brochures and website, but do not care about their patients. Money is all the owner, Samantha Botha is interested in. I signed an agreement with Samantha - She was pleasant and all smiles when she first came to visit. She promised the earth.That's where it ended. As of mid April, she has still not paid the carers, who she fired, their January salary - a despicable act against helpless working people. If you Love your relative, hire someone else, this company is completely unscrupulous and LIES. This company should be shut down.
