I paid a R5000 deposit to your company on the 06/02/2026 with the hopes of purchasing a car from your auction but I ended up buying somewhere else. When I wanted to process the refund for my money I was told I must wait 10-14 days, I sent the form with the required documents on the 13/02/2026 and I never even got a response or email confirmation that my request is being processed. I called your offices on the 24/02/2026 spoke to one of your agents Zanele who didn't even care about my request, she had zero interest about what I had to say and let alone follow up on my request, so much for "customer care". She transferred me to the CT Montagu Gardens branch to get rid of me, your branch also transferred me to your refund department who never even picked up just blatantly dropped the call in my ear. However when I made the deposit payment I got a response from your company within hours. Today was the 10th business day and I am still without my money, not even the decency of a response, no confirmation. I am extremely disappointed in your company and how you treat your customers when they require their money back. I would never recommend anyone to support your company!! It is the worst customer service I have ever experienced so far. i feel like I am being ****MED by your

They ridiculed me for checking on the progress of the refund making me feel petty about my money, they make it sound like I am nagging. It was a 10 business days process and its overdue. When I call they just want to get rid of me, and they do not bother following up. I have been up and down with these guys and there is no single being willing to assist. Try calling them they will take your number and never call you, on the chat you will be passed around like a problem child, Never again

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I have been waiting for my money to be refunded for a long time, and despite sending all the required documents and following up multiple times, there has been no clear response or resolution. Communication is poor, and every time I ask for an update, I either get no answer or new delays. It feels like customers are ignored once payments are involved. This process has been frustrating, unprofessional, and stressful because this is money that rightfully belongs to me. I would not recommend using this service if you expect efficient support or timely refunds. Customers deserve transparency and accountability, and unfortunately that has not been my experience.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. Why must one wait a long time to be refunded.It is easy and quick to pay a deposit with this company but when it is their turn to refund you,then they act like a typical government department where you are sent from pillar to post.I sent them a proof of payment which I don't understand why this is required because the amount will show on their bank statement anyway.A copy of the ID book as well as bank confirmation letter were also sent but to my surprise they still doubt that the documents belong to me.Why create unnecessary stumbling blocks especially when refunds are due to the customers.The process of claiming refunds should be as smooth as when a customer pays a deposit.This company is big on promises but very poor on delivery.This is my last time doing business with them because CPA does not apply to them and this is more likely why they take customers for granted.Stop having policies that do not help the customers.

False adverti*****t is common when buying a car from this organisation,they post cars that have jumped timing (engine knocked ) as starter ,I asked them to show me the video of the car starting and in operation they couldn’t show me ,I returned the car back to them to refund me it’s 5 weeks now the car is with them and my money not refunded ,they telling me they want to sell the car on my behave ,how can you sell a broken car that you sold to me and I return back to you immediately ,how do you sell the car on my behave ,this is becoming a rogue organization that the public have to be aware of ,they put it in their clause even if they advertise it starter and u send your towing vehicle and it’s not starting they won’t be liable ,this is a huge ***** the community need to be aware about ,dealing with auction nation is like dealing with a *****ulent organization that will **** you off your money

To whoever is reading this,another sad and interesting occurrence with this Auction Nation company,i was sent an invoice of a car that I did not buy,i contacted them and made it clear i did not buy the vehicle,the Branch manager (Pamela) whom I work with closely, I did tell her about the incident and she took it upon herself to escalate the issue,i believed it was resolved and the invoice was cancelled without penalty,i did notify her and thanked her for her service as she is an awesome person and ever ready to help you. This invoice was for R29854,i bought more cars over R200000 without issues and having to pay in any deposit,transactions went smoothly without any issues,woke up on Monday 2nd of Feb 2026,registered as usual,only to find out am not able to bid,contacted them at the office,was told my deposit was forfeited because I cancelled ,i did not cancel any invoice,my deposit was taking for unjust reason which I find so *********,after contacting the branch manager,she promised to get back to me and she did,only to be told nothing they can do to restore my deposit and its forfeited just like that for a car i did not purchase,that baffled me and its more like theft to me as I insist I did not buy the car they keep forcing me and wanting me to pay for the invoice,the car I bought ,i did pay them off without issues ,why will 29k be an issue if I bought the said lot,and pay over 200k for other purchases,someone needs to explain this to me.... anyways I made them aware I will no longer be patronising them and they can close that account for all I care,business relationship of over 13 yrs down the drain but they still dont care as I was told I can close the account for all they care ... wow ! So much for customer service !!! I see alot of negative comment about the same company but its obvious they care less. Just a piece of advice,people fall from grace to grass ,companies close down because of poor customer service !

To whom it may concern, This email serves as formal notice that I have had enough of the excuses, delays, and complete lack of accountability regarding money that is rightfully owed to me. Payment from Auction Nation is now more than 12 days overdue. Despite numerous follow-ups, I have received nothing but stories. The repeated explanation that “the person who clears payments is not in the office” or that “it will be sorted today” has been used multiple times. Four days have now passed since the last such promise, and still no payment has been made. This is unacceptable and reflects extremely poor service delivery. What is even more concerning is that this issue is clearly not isolated. Auction Nation’s ongoing payment delays and treatment of clients are widely documented on HelloPeter and across social media. It is evident that this has been happening to clients for a long time. The pattern is clear: clients are given the run-around when money is owed to them, yet Auction Nation has no hesitation taking payment promptly when a client buys a vehicle. This shows a complete disregard for client wellbeing and trust. I have tried to resolve this matter professionally and privately. The staff member answering calls has been unhelpful, and internal excuses are repeatedly used to deflect responsibility. Your internal processes, staffing issues, or administration problems are not my concern. At this stage, I do not want stories, explanations, or apologies. I require the following: Immediate confirmation of when payment will be made Proof of payment once processed The contact details of a senior person who will take accountability if this is not resolved today Pay the money owed to me so I can move on and ensure that I do not make use of Auction Nation again due to this level of service. If this matter is not resolved without further delay, I will have no choice but to escalate it further, including formal complaints and public platforms where this ongoing behaviour is already being highlighted. I expect a response today.
