Worldwide 5 Stars ⭐️ Hotels offer sauna facility amongst other amenities as a standard in place Aurelias had a sauna at the Octavias Spa till recently but now removed and closed down Can the 5 Stars proud rate be still CLAIMED ?

I have booked a High Tea for 16 Ladies for a Bride to be on 20 March 2021 Was sooo disappointed in the food IT WAS A REAL JOKE WAS ASHAMED TO PUT THIS IN FRONT OF OUR GUESTS Painted a awesome picture on the website but we did not receive any thing close and we paid so much money Please make sure you get a clear picture of what you will receive for your money

I booked a reservation for a high tea for the 24th October three weeks prior to the day. I received a confirmatory email the day before the 24th. I arrived before the allocated time and had to wait to be seated. Once seated our waiter, Aubrey, sounded drunk and had no idea what drinks we could order. He went to check and didn't return. Nancy the manager came to us and advised us which juices were available. We ordered the granadilla and fruit ****tail. Aubrey returned with Nancy to tell us that they did not have those drinks available. When our juices arrived, it was warm. An event was taking place and the music was so loud we could not communicate with each other anymore. Busi and Mpho, another two staff members, arrived an hour later to tell us that they want to move us to the back due to the event. At this stage, I completely had enough as our food had not even arrived yet. I complained to them and told them that their service was terrible as this was a celebration for my mothers birthday and the whole day had now been ruined because of terrible service. We were moved to another table and Patrick the head manager came to apologise to us for the terrible service. I explained that an apology will obviously not be good enough as I was paying R500 for this high tea so I expected the best service. What disgusted me further was that my mother mentioned that I am a lawyer and she is a teacher and Patrick then said that if he knew he was hosting professional individuals he would have paid more attention to us. This is disgusting management as it shouldn't matter who we are, we should be treated equal to every other guest. I am unbelievably disappointed with my experience and I will be sure to advertise and share my disgust on as many platforms as I can. I have never had an experience such as this in my whole life. We will obviously never be going back, to emperors or to Aurelia. The food was sub par as well, not worth the money. The staff is incompetent and clearly not suited for this job. Find new staff.

If 0 stars was possible these guys deserve it. We booked for a full day spa at Octavias spa and on booking we where told arrangements where made for us to have Breakfast at Aurellias due to covid we could not eat at the spa as usually Aurellias serves the spa guests at the spa. After our first treatment our host said we can go to the restaurant to eat . The lady Mpho made such a fuss in front of us shouting to another lady saying why we are there and they don't serve spa guest they are busy and she went on. Her attitude is terrible will never go there and will not recommend them even to colleagues or friends . Her approach was disgusting

<p>An overall shocking and unpleasant experience. Food was stale and very unappealing. How can tea and coffee not be included in the high tea cist per person? Staff were nowhere to be seen and if they were around were uninterested in attending to patrons. Definitely not value for money at all and not a high tea I will recommend to anyone. This disaster took place on 13th May 2017 at Aurelias Restaurant. A reputable institution such as Emperors Palace should not allow such a pathetic establishment to be on their premises.</p> <p> </p>

On valentines day, my wife and myself had made a reservation at Aurelias Restaurant in Umhlanga for lunch at 13:00. My wife had ordered the baby chicken and prawns. While having lunch we had also noticed flies around, which we did not worry too much about. After having our valentines lunch, we had returned home. After a about 2 hours, my wife started to throw up and feel sick. After this, my wife could not eat any other food. The next day, Monday, I took my wife to the doctor for treatment. The doctor had confirmed our suspicion of food Poisoning. The doctor had recommended rest and to complete a course of medication, and to return if there was no improvement. My wife had continued to worsen over Monday night and had to be taken back to the doctor on Tuesday. The doctor administered a drip and gave further treatment. We decided to complete the medication and check if the situation became better. However things became worse on Wednesday with my wife now vomiting blood and having bloody diarrhoea. Unfortunately I arrived late from work and could not go to the doctor. Today is Thursday morning and my wife has not yet eating since the valentines lunch and I am currently taking her t
