I handed in my Landcruiser to have an engine knock sorted out and 12 months later they handed me my vehicle back only to discover a major oil leak from the engine, missing mounting bolts on the Diesel Filter, missing Injector pipe clamps, missing mounting bolts between the Bell housing and on the transfer case . The main mounting bolts for the gearbox were hand tightened and loose. There were 8 x sump bolts missing / and the damp gasket was not app**** on correctly / and there no oil gaskets used on the engine side plates next to the rockers . The Radiator mounting Bracket was not secured down as the bolts and braces were no put back in place. The radiator was basically held in place by the hoses. I will not recommend using this workshop to anyone planning on have the vehicle repaired at Auto Aircon and Brandon the director charged me an arm and an leg for the first phase and when asked to send me a breakdown of how he got to those charges he ignored my written request . Stay far away from Auto Aircon Workshop on Plantation Road in Eastleigh Edenvale -

Took my car to Auto Aircon 38 Plantation Rd, Eastleigh, Edenvale, 1610. Aircon not working after 2 min they told me a fuse was blowen. Replased the fuse and sent me in my way NO CHARGE. This is the 3rd time I have used them with similar results.

Bunch of thieves if you ask me. When a price seems to good to be true stick with your gut and go somewhere else because this place not only gives you a lower than market price but they also give you other peoples worthless parts and then will make it look like its your fault.

In December 2021 I took my airccon pump to this company who claimed they could repair my pump. The inspection took a day and they called to say that there was no real problems on my pump and they could recon it. So R2500.00 later extremely excited that I am finally going to have aircon in my car and it does not work! I then call them and they say I must bring it in which I did I then get an email saying the pump was not fitted correctly and that it is my fault which was a bull**** story because it turns out they just swapped my pump for someone elses **** which had been lying on there shelf. So eventually they agree to look at it again and this took a day they then call and say its fixed and today I have just gone to go put aircon gas in and a big F^^*&* you its doing the same thing so this was never looked at neither was it ever repaired and now I sit with an empty pocket and someone elses **** pump!!!!!!

Poor service. They told me my cars aircon is broken and needs to be replaced. They first told me it's R5000 for a recon unit. I didnt have the cash, so went back 2 weeks later, and the price had increased to R6900. I left the car with them, and was then quoted R15864.25, becuase no recon units available. I refused the quote and took my car to Bens Auto Aircon services in Northcliffe. They found that a fuse was blown. They did suggest I replace the aircon, as it was over 8 years old. They had plenty of stock, available and the job was done within an hour. Excellent service. Toal cost R4900

Terrible service at Auto Aircon (Edenvale). Took in an Audi A4 A/C compressor for recon, had it removed from vehicle at Bosch Service Centre (Edenvale) as Auto Aircon labour rate is R950/hr (they think they're Audi/VW at those prices?). R3500 recon done, collected and took the new 'tested' aircon compressor back to Bosch for fitment. Bosch did a full aircon flush (removal of debris in system from failed A/C compressor), A/C service/regas done with print-out - A/C not working! Bosch were kind enough to do a free diagnostic test and the fault found on their diagnostic machine was '01232 - Compressor Regulator Valve system, A/ Short-circuit to ground' which is a valve internally in the A/C compressor. The Bosch tech then explained to me that as per the diagnostics done and checking of the A/C plug/wiring (FOR FREE), the actual reconditioned A/C compressor is faulty (vehicle has gas and no leaks detected + no other A/C fault codes...)Returned with the vehicle back to Auto Aircon and was asked if I am sure Bosch knows what they are doing?! I was then told that Auto Aircon tests the A/C compressor on a bench tester and it's not possible that the A/C compressor is the fault. Furthermore, they want R950 for 1 hour labour and R550 for another regas to strip the compressor out of the vehicle and test it. Regardless if their compressor has a fault with the regulator valve or not, I must pay another R1500 to them for stripping and testing. Bosch (being an RMI approved service centre) was not good enough to properly fit the A/C compressor or diagnose the fault...(I could've let Pete down the road fit it and saved some money had I known) Auto Aircon are a money-grabbing business, not even looking to help or compromise on their labour rate with me as a client. Yes, I was still willing to pay for labour 'IF' the A/C compressor was 100% fine, I wanted them to diagnose the fault but extremely rude unprofessional personal didn't even want to discuss options with me as the client - workshop foreman didn't bother to come out and speak to me personally, sent out a rude lackie rather. STAY AWAY, it's not worth your peace of mind having to endure such atrocious customer service! (So now I have to pay someone again to remove the A/C compressor and take it, loose, to Auto Aircon for testing and for them to uphold their warranty). NB. Lindsay Saker VW Kempton Park will do it for R895 incl Vat and they will hold my aircon gas in their machine for free, once refitted they can regas and vacuum test A/C system For FREE - Now that's proper customer service! Take note Auto Aircon ffs...

I am very pleased with the service and assistance given by Mr. Johan Laurens at AutoAircon in EastLeigh, Edenvale. After the complaint I made and frustrations I had with my car, he definitely took it upon himself to make sure that I got a new Radiator and fixed my car for free and gave me future advises about my car. I am really thankful for the service he has given me.
