They damaged my car and are not fixing it.

I took my car in for repairs. when i collected it, i walked around and noticed the rubber seal on both of my back windows had been torn to shreds but put back very neatly. i complained to the manager and he said he would repair it. i refused to take my car and leave until i had it in writing. the manager took my car keys from out of my hands and promptly drove my car into the workshop. i insisted that the owner sort the matter out. the owner would not come to the outlet and as i would not drive my vehicle off the premises until i had something in writing, i was obliged to wait a further hour for the owner to come to the branch. he was very rude and to cut a long story short, he said he would put secondhand rubber seals on my windows. his manager was to obtain the rubbers and to let me know. i have contacted them but they dont respond to me. the owner put it in writing that they will fix the rubbers. this i insisted he write on the invoice. he has stressed that i cannot obtain legal counsel. strange. if this is a company who does not respond - what assistance can i get form you. please help me. im a single mom and struggle. repairs were from another driving into me. her insurance pd
