I had an incredibly unpleasant and distressing experience at Auto Stop Parts recently. From the moment I walked in, I was met with an appalling level of service. The staff was insulting and unprofessional, acting as if my presence was inconvenient rather than treating me like a valued customer. What truly shocked me was the owner's behavior. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the service, the owner did not attempt to resolve the issue but instead escalated the situation dramatically. Not only did he raise his voice and use inappropriate language, but he also made physical threats towards me. I was horrified when he approached me aggressively, implying that he would physically assault me if I didn’t leave immediately. This level of ************ and lack of basic respect is completely unacceptable. No customer should ever have to fear for their safety while visiting a business. I am utterly disgusted by the treatment I received and strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs. The owner's behavior was not only unprofessional but also ********. I hope appropriate action is taken to ensure no one else has to endure such an awful experience. Stay far away from Auto Stop Parts if you value your safety and dignity. I bought a Steering rack from Hassan : the motor and belt and it was fitted by Alan. For R9k, 1 tyre senser, 2 rain senser Their motor didn't work So i used the belt only, i returned their motor So changed me R9k for just a belt only They don't wanna refund me, they were hiding their no refund board

Worst service I have had in my 40 years in the motor trade I was charged R2 500 for diagnostics and bypassing the immobilizer. A staff member informed me that the timing must be set. I then took the vehicle to a Hyundai specialist who said that the computer box was not working as Auto Stop Parts had bypassed the computer box. After discussing the matter with "EBBIE" he became disrespectful. Bypassing the computer box messed up the coding. I had asked "EBBIE" to reset the computer box to it's original or to refund my R 2500 as the bypass did not work. ( Even though he was paid). To solve the issue I had to buy a computer box which the Hyundai specialist recoded and thereby solving the problem. My advice: Stay away from Auto Stop Parts 262 Voortrekker Road Parow Western Cape

I can’t believe this place is still in business! We ordered and paid for a air flow sensor on the 20th of October, it is the 9th of November and we still don’t have the part and NO ONE can tell me if they have the part or not! Everyday they say they will phone me back and no one phones ! Most pathetic client service ! ! WORST OF THE WORST service I have ever had !!

I can’t believe this place is still in business! Dishonest business practices by all staff members of this automotive part sales establishment. Purchased a set of injectors for my 1.8I citi golf. Two of the four injectors started leaking through the casing, took them back, dealt with Lindie who is the salesperson and Brian the manager. Brian gave me the runaround since day one and is never available to take any calls. He promises to call back but never does! Utterly disgusted by his service! He is very arrogant and condescending! I would recommend that no one purchase any parts from them as they are dishonest and only takes your money!

Bought a airflow meter for a mazda mx6 from them. After getting the meter I had no chance of installing it as I was not home then. When I saw the airflow meter after opening the small box with the item just wrapped in bubble wrap I could immediately see that it was not a new airflow meter but a second hand one that has nicks and bumps and had all the original stickers removed. Also the item did not come in a sealed bag as airflow meters should come if they are new. But I was desperate at that point and did not mind it being secondhand as long as it worked. But it did not work. Installed it in the car and everything was a mess. Idling was horrible with black smoke out the exhaust. Called a specialist in george and asked him what to do. Reset the ecu and its even worse. Unplugged the airflow meter and it gets better. Put back the old one and idles fine. Reset the ecu again and plugged in the new second hand one and back to horrible. Tested it on a ohm meter and readings are incorrect. Called them and told them the item was faulty and they won't replace because 7 days have already passed. Fine the 7 days are past but does selling a broken second hand item still qualify as a new item? Closest place for me to do diagnostics on the car is george and that is 170km away. So how am I anyways supposed to get there and back and off work and the part back within 7 days. Highlighted all the reasons they will not do a refund on the invoice. They saw me coming and took me for a expensive ride as paying R2000 for a broken second hand part is daylight robbery. Don't buy from them as they sell second hand stuff as new ones. I am not the first to complain. These skelms should be closed down as they rip people off.talked to rashied and all he says is no replace as its after 7 days. Contacted and notified them on day 8. Won't go the extra mile to help people just going the extra mile to rip people off. Don't support them. EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went to purchase a new airflow meter which was all good until the part supplied did not work. I went back to the store to let them know this whereby they took the part back and said they will be in contact with a new part +-2 days. 1 month later still nothing. Every attempt at contacting them was net with reading the nessage but not responding. I eventually had enough and went into the offices to get information. They only then told me the part won't work and I have to get an original and will cost ne R600 more. I told them I want a refund because they sold me a part that does not work! They agreed to a refund but then said I have to forfeit 10% for the refund. After some deliberation they agreed to refund the full amount within 4 days. It has been 2 weeks and they still putting it off. Absolutely shocking customer service with bad attitudes and down ride rudeness!
