AVG software by AVG Technologies, trading under Digital River Island Ltd

I am using AVG's Anti Virus software which is free. I do not use any others nor have made a contract for any other. On 17/10/20 I received a notification that my "contract for AVG Ultimate has been renewed" for R 999.00 per annum and charged to my credit card account. I immediately complained to AVG and received a reply that my account, order no 83946535500, would be reimbursed within 5 - 7 business days. That did not happen and I have numerous times complained to no avail. Please help. I am a pensioner and cannot afford such expenses.
