Ballito Junction is the only option, but it is not a great one.

There are not a lot of very interesting or unique shops here. Most of the shops can be found at just about any mall in the country, but they of course do not receive the same stock that other malls in places like JHB or cape town have.

The mall is also not even airconditioned. Like the individual shops have to provide their own.

The planning around it is poor, too. You can tell that it was much smaller and that they just added a bunch to it when the demand for it grew.

They use this draconian system where you have to get a paper card for parking. You need to scan it before you leave. For regular shoppers or visitors to the mall, there is no subscription based system or card for regulars to carry, so that sucks. It feels pretty old-timey to me. The mall is just alright. I prefer gateway. I will say that an hour of parking is free, so that is one advantage that it has. It is pretty generous, but if you want to see a movie or somethiing, then you have to pay.
