I am disgusted by the level of incompetence of avis call centre. I have spoken to almost 5 staff explaining the same thing and neither of them grasps it. Recurring rental amount was debited from my account but wasn't released by their bank for over two weeks. Then they debited my account again the same amount plus R800.40 for late fee which was also not released on time and proof sent to them, an amount of R884. was debited again whilst the first one was still hanging. Again my punishment is that they are so incompetent to release their own funds from my account and therefore have no reason to debit my account but they will anyway because they have no reason why not either! If you need to lease a car rather look for other rentals, avis billing system and their customer service is a nightmare on day light trust me!
